Baby Girl Has Eczema

My baby girl was born in October of 2009 and was diagnosed with eczema and I have been using hydrocortisone cream 0.5% whenever she had flare ups. Now she is nearly 7 months old and I am trying to ween her but I found that when she comes in contact with cows milk or yogurt she develops white headed rashes. Is it because of the eczema or the hydrocortisone cream? How do I treat her? I'm really worried as she cannot have any dairy I suppose. Please Advise.

Hello Naveena,

When weaning baby from breast milk and integrating other liquids and solid foods, break outs are not uncommon and most times are superficial and very transient. However, if you are finding that your daughter has a break out every time she has milk or yogurt, then she may need to get tested to see if she is lactose intolerant.

When your daughter's eczema flares up I have the following natural recommendation for you to follow.
