Best Treatment for Lichen Planus

Hi Nanette:
I am having some trouble in understanding which is the best treatment for Lichen Planus.

I am and have been a very healthy man but recently I have had very stressful situations in my life - past 3 years - all of the sudden I am developing LP, at first very mild but in the past weeks it is expanding from my calves to ankles, upper legs, upper body, etc. So far not in the mouth, nails or scalp but I do not want to wait until that happens.

Is there an effective treatment for it? Can you please suggest one?
