Dermtitis On my Scalp, Face And Dark Blackish Spots Around The Nose

I was wondering if Sulfur 8 Shampoo is good to use. My scalp is irritated in the middle and flaky around the edges of my hair. The shampoo has relieved the itching for the most part...now my question is will using the shea butter on my scalp relieve my symptoms and should I use a different shampoo? Also,the dermatitis around my nose has left the sides of my nose black and discolored,will the shea butter alone decrease the discoloration or should I add another method ?

Hello TM,
I will explain that Sulfur 8 contains the ingredients: triclosan, water, TEA-lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, lauramide DEA, cocoamphoacetate, fragrance, disodium EDTA, sodium chloride, Yellow 6, and Blue 1(color/dyes). However, some of these ingredients have hazardous side effects and here's why:
Triclosan - is a chlorophenol, which can cause cancer in humans. Scientific studies show triclosan can produce bacteria resistant to antibiotics and can combine with chlorine in tap water to form chloroform gas and other harmful compounds. Sodium Laureth Sulfate - is the alcohol form of its cousin, sodium lauryl sulfate. Both are contained in many personal care products due to their cheap cost and both are harmful and and cause eye and skin irritation. Lauramide DEA - is a mixture of ethanolamides of lauric acid and studies have linked lauramide DEA to tumor formation.

In my professional opinion, Sulfur 8 Shampoo is NOT the a good choice to use based on the above facts. The two products I would highly recommend are our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT combined with our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM. Both of these products contain urea, a strong humectant and healing agent, and shea butter. Our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM contains 25% shea butter and 20% urea.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.
