Dry Face

Dear Nanette,

The last few weeks my face has felt warm and looks red and rough and I know it is not hot flashes. I'm on synthroid medication; I have been constipated the last few weeks also and I also have itchy bumps on my neck and face occasionally. I had an allergy test years ago and the only thing I was allergic to was copper.
I have a healthy diet and I do drink two to three glasses of wine at least 5 to 6 days a week. I was also using 20% glycolic pads on my face for the last year which I have stopped using as they seemed to help my complexion but now seems too strong to use. What do you think may be causing this problem?

Response To Dry Face

Hello Christine,

First let me say for our website viewers that Synthroid is a replacement drug for a hormone that is normally produced by your thyroid gland to regulate the body's energy and metabolism. Synthroid is given when the thyroid does not produce enough of this hormone on its own. You mentioned being constipated - medications can either cause or exacerbate this problem. As far as what is exactly causing your skin problems, I would need to acquire much more information from you and certainly, blood work would tell a lot as well. Based on the information you have provided me, I will give you my recommendations that will restore your facial and neck skin as well as provide great healthful benefits to your entire bodily systems.

1) Wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will help bring your skin in balance. Then apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM which is a deep penetrating cream which will penetrate the 7 layers of skin and promote optimal functioning of the skin processes helping to restore your skin while stopping any itching and providing an anti bacterial protection as well.

2) Take our GREEN POWERHOUSE several time per day, to provide your body with the widest array of vitamins, minerals and enzymes needed by the body to repair and replenish. This formula also contains the highest amount of chlorophyll which further cleanses every cell as well as promotes healthy cell growth, functionality and development.

3) Take our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER twice daily, to remove impacted waste matter and toxic build up as well as assist in cleansing the liver and kidneys. This will greatly help by building and strengthening your immune system.

This is my complete recommendation at this point but please start on the products you feel most comfortable with and you can certainly proceed from there. I know this program will help restore your health and please feel free to contact me with any further questions you may have.

As a final note, diet is very important to the health and wellness of the entire body and of course, skin. Although wine has a number of beneficial qualities to the body, the recommended amount for women is one 5 oz. glass of wine per day. Also, drinking alcohol while on prescription drugs presents the possibility of negative drug interaction. Considering these factors, I highly recommend your adjusting your wine intake. You can do a search on the internet for more detailed studies on this topic.

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have and I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
