Eczema Around The Eyes

by Mr. Ahmed

I have a skin condition (probably Eczema) around my eyes and have been prescribed Hydrocortisone 1.0 % for it. Honestly when I apply it it relieves me from the itching and burning but it has been more than six months that the condition has not fully been treated. Should I continue using it or if not what is the best alternative for me?

Hello Mr. Ahmed,

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest skin on the entire body. Hyrdocortisone is a topical steroid that is a drug that forces the skin to respond in a certain way. Steroid creams are harsh chemicals that are toxic and produce damaging side effects. These side effects include: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of! Steroids are absorbed at different rates from different parts of the body. The eyelids absorb as much as 30% of the steroid cream every time you apply it to your skin.

I have two very natural products that I highly recommend to you. Know that many products on the market are loaded with harsh, drying ingredients that strip the natural PH. Our FACE & BODY WASH will deeply cleanse and moisturize your skin removing old skin cells and debris. Next, apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily while focusing on the skin around your eyes. This natural and enriched cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up. Eczema symptoms will dissipate as balance begins to be restored.

Please keep me posted on your progress Mr. Ahmed.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
