Eczema in Children

(Yuma, Az, US)

Hi,

I have 4 children that were diagnosed with Eczema. During allergy season, I constantly use hydrocortisone prescribed cream. It helps, but I hate knowing this is a chemical and a steroid with many side effects.

I looked though your products and testimonials from other concerned mothers, but I wasn't sure what product to purchase for my children. Please help me decide which one to try. Their ages are from 4 to 10 and they have a mild case of Eczema in common areas like buttocks, behind knees and inside of arms & thighs. It saddens me to know that this is not curable and I would like to make them feel better.

I appreciate your help and I really hope your products work for my children. Not only is this uncomfortable, it is not nice to look at. They have scratched in their sleep causing bleeding and scabbing. :(

Thank you for your time.

Respectfully,

Worried Mommy in AZ

Response To: Eczema In Children
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

First, take heart! I understand how heartbreaking it can be to watch our children suffer, but you should know that the skin responds to natural ingredients much in the way that the body responds to wholesome foods. I commend you for doing the necessary research on the use of hydrocortisone creams and their very damaging side effects.

For your children, I highly recommend two of our fast performing products. First, wash with our FACE & BODY WASH, which is a hypo-allergenic, chemical free cleanser, which will quickly add much needed moisture to the skin and begin the restorative process. Most soaps and cleansers on the market, even those labeled "natural", contain drying chemicals and only exacerbate skin conditions. Next, apply our all natural HAND & BODY THERACREAM twice daily to the areas you mentioned. This cream will penetrate the skin 7 layers deep and add abundant moisture as well as stop the itching (so important with young children) and contains plenty of vitamins and nutrients to repair, fortify and protect their skin.

Please keep me posted on your children's progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Eczema In 7 Months Old
by: Lina

Hello Nanette,

I have a 7 month old daughter and she had eczema since she was 1 month old. I tried so many things and nothing really works. Pediatricians keep telling me to use Hydrocortisone 1% and Aquaphor but reading about all the side effects of Hydrocortisone I refused to use it. However I did use Aquaphor on her cheeks, (that is the only place she has the breakouts) but it only helps a little and she keeps scratching it all the time and make her cheeks bleed. Some of the other things I did was ordered cream called eczemaderm and had high hopes but it actually makes her cheeks look and feel worse than before, it gets stretchy, red and skin begins to peel off. I also tried a plant called Bidens Tripartita in latin and what I did was boil it for ten minutes and washed her face with it a few time a day. It did help but not as much as I would like.
I changed her formula as well from Enfamil to Earth's Best Organic formula hoping that might help and it did not.
I used to use a heater in her room during the winter but stopped doing that and now I use a humidifier a few times a week.
After reading about your products I am really hopeful that they will help my baby. Please HELP and let me know what you can suggest for our situation.

Thank you very much.

Hello Lina,

It sounds like you have been really trying to find a natural solution to your baby's eczema and you are to be commended! Most of the products on the market just have too many harsh ingredients to be effective. I would recommend our FACE & BODY WASH and our FACE & NECK THERACREAM for your daughter's cheeks. When applying the cream for the first few days add a bit of sterile water to the cream before applying to dilute the cream. After 3 or 4 days begin to add less and less water until you are applying full strength.

Please keep me posted on her progress Lina.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
