Hair May Be Thinning At 18

by Adam
(Oklahoma City)

I'm 18 years old and worried because it seems ever since college started my hair is thinner in the front and going back on the temples and thinning there. I'm somewhat convinced it's my bad diet, lack of sleep, extreme stress, and oily scalp. But could these factors play a role in a receding hairline? Do you think it is possible for me to get some thicker hair? There is no family history of baldness on both sides of my family.

Hello Adam,

Considering the fact that there is no family history of balding on both sides of your family, in all likelihood, your thinning hair could very well be due to external variables at play here. Certainly, diet, lack of sleep, oily scalp and especially extreme stress can all have a negative effect on hair growth. Of course I am going to strongly recommend that you work towards attaining a healthier diet, increase your sleep (naps count too!), cleanse your scalp regularly and try some activities to help you de-stress.

To bring your scalp back to a healthy balance, I recommend the following. At night, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the scalp. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. It has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties and will unpack any congested (excess oil mixed with dead cells) areas.

Next, when you wash your hair and scalp use our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will assist your scalp in regaining a healthy balance once again as well as restore its proper PH.

Please keep posted on your progress Adam.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
