Hello Carol,

I am not surprised that you are not having good results with using steroids for your Lichen Planus. Steroids produce many dangerous side effects which include: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system and steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of!
