My Eczema

Hi Nanette,

I have horrible eczema on my legs, back, sides, and occasionally on my wrists. I have had eczema since I was a little baby and I have dealt with it all my life! (only 11 years though.) My mom and I have noticed that it looks great in the summer but the winter months are the worst because I have horrible breakouts and my skin gets very dry. It also, depending on how bad the breakout, sometimes can hurt to move my legs actively. Sometimes it may even look like I have scales on my legs because of how cracked they can get. We have assumed that the reason it looks so good in the summer is because of the Vitamin D that the Sun gives off. Is this true?

What natural lotions, oils, and/or body washes would be the most beneficial to my condition? Also I am not allergic to anything.

When I have an itch, I've noticed especially towards bedtime, it's like my hands take over and I have no control over anything. Whether that means itching until I have a cramp in my hand or just rubbing it for a couple of seconds. In the past my mom has duck taped oven mitts to my hands but then the itch would come back and in the morning it would be even worse than before. What could we do about my excessive itching? Are there any creams out there that might help reduce my itch? I am in need of help. Could you please help me?!?!

Sincerely,
Another eczema victim.
Casper, Wyoming

Response To My Eczema
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello There,

Take heart! No matter how severe your eczema may be, your skin will absolutely respond to natural ingredients much in the way the body responds to wholesome foods. With eczema comes extremely dry, cracked and itchy skin which you are presently experiencing. The tendency is to scratch even though you have attempted to stop. It's just the nature of this condition. I will tell you what I highly recommend you use to stop your itching and repair your skin. We have customers all across the globe with varying degrees of eczema that have followed our advice and have had their skin restored.

First, wash with our hypo-allergenic, chemical free cleanser, FACE & BODY WASH, which will quickly add much needed moisture to your skin and begin the restorative process. Most soaps and cleansers on the market, even those labeled "natural", contain drying chemicals and only exacerbate skin conditions. Next, apply our all natural HAND & BODY THERACREAM twice daily. This cream will penetrate the skin 7 layers deep and add abundant moisture as well as stop the itching and contains plenty of vitamins and nutrients to repair, fortify and protect your skin. If you have areas where there are thick scales and are located on the knees, elbows or feet, then you will want to use our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM which is specially formulated to penetrate the thicker skin in these areas. As I said at the beginning, take heart, as these creams will work quickly to heal and restore your skin so you can resume a happy, active childhood!

Lastly, many people with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis experience a temporary cessation of their symptoms during the summer months as they are outdoors more due to (as you mentioned) the production of Vitamin D stimulated by the sun and the fresh air and greater circulation from exercise or increased movement in general.

Please keep me posted on your progress!

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Thank You,
Nanette I very much thank you for giving me some of your advice. The problem I have now is that I have a spot on my ankle that is very big and each of the so called scales on my skin are covered in scabs that are a reddish purple. They hurt really bad and it hurts to run and even walk. My mom says that we will look at your products and consider them.

Hi,
Well I got rid of the bad spot but now it is coming back on the opposite side of the same leg so I think that it will be a while before I can fully get rid of this "spot" thing. Well thanks for all the advice & I will keep you posted.
