My Hair

My question is: my hair...I am sick over it ... my hair is very fine. I have colored and permed my hair for many years. I am 71 yrs old and in the last 2 years with a lot of medication I take and surgery and stress I have been through, my hair is very dry and matted and I cannot cut it any shorter as it is already about 1 1/2" short on top. Recently it has been permed and it got worse. I really feel it was not a good thing but how can I fix my problem? Can apple cider vinegar help the hair and what shampoo and conditioner should I use? Where do I find them? The sun damaged my hair as well and turned it to a brassy reddish blonde when, I am a dark blonde to light brunett. I did have nice shoulder length hair but now I have very short hair because I needed to cut most of all the dry ends off but it is bad to my new growth which is only about a 1/4 " coming in. I do not plan to color for along time and no more perms "I WANT MY HAIR BACK" please e-mail me with my answer!

Thank you, very much will be waiting to hear from you! Barbara

Hello Barbara,

Our hair is our crown and glory, so I certainly can feel your pain when you say you want your hair back!! It is a fact that shampoos rank among the hair products most often reported in association with dry hair and scalp, irritation and outbreaks, stinging eyes, and tangled, split, and fuzzy hair. Add to this, the harsh chemicals used in perm processing and hair coloring.....it is no wonder so many people are frustrated.

When hair has been badly damaged with chemicals and excessive heat, there is trauma to the hair follicle along with the obvious dry, brittle and fragile hair shafts. Treatment must take place 7 layers deep in the tissues of the scalp. This is where new, healthy hair will begin to be evident. The scalp is the area that needs to receive nutrients and much needed moisture.

I believe in using only naturally made products made with herbal ingredients. I have seen time and time again that using an effective shampoo is critically important. As an advocate of natural remedies, I believe in the immediate and long term benefits of using only natural, organic products for your hair and scalp. They should contain the right combination of natural herbal extracts, vitamins C and E, tea tree oil and more. You see, these are highly reparative ingredients and a natural shampoo doesn't disturb the natural PH of the hair & scalp like most commercial shampoos and hair products do. It soothes and hydrates the scalp for long lasting relief and health.

The following is what I highly recommend for the treatment of your scalp and hair to help restore both to a healthy balance and state.

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the scalp. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with health building nutrients. These 2 products, together, will repair dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again. Remember, when the scalp and hair are dry the number one thing they need is MOISTURE and not oil.

Once repaired, you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp and hair healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted on your progress Barbara.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
