Psoriasis in My Ears

Nanette,

I've had psoriasis in both ears for almost 20 years.
I am taking Olux-E, and it keeps it under control, but never clears it up. I'm also afraid of the side effects. What product would you recommend? I do know that I have to be careful what I put in my ears so that I don't encourage bacteria growth or infection. Mostly my ears are just very dry and flaky.

Response to Psoriasis in My Ears
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hi Karen,

Thank you for contacting me with your question. For our visitors to this page I will say that the drug you mentioned, Olux-E, is a very strong synthetic corticosteroid. Although it may keep your psoriasis under control as you mentioned, I will say that pretty much that's all one can hope for with steroids. They can mask symptoms for a while however, beware, as this temporary relief comes with a price. In short, side effects from steroid use can include: thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system.

As the body responds to natural and wholesome foods on the inside, I can tell you Karen, that the skin and whatever the condition it is experiencing, will also respond to natural and health restoring and building ingredients. The number one product I would recommend for the psoriasis on your ears is our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM which is specifically designed for the thicker skin such as found on the ears, scalp, feet, elbows and knees. This cream has amazing anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties that will prevent any bacteria growth or infection. Begin using this product (but please do not use the Olux-E while doing so) and apply in the morning and the evening until restoration is complete.

Please keep me posted on your progress Karen.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Psoriasis In Ears
by: karlee

Hi, I have what I think is psoriasis in my ears. It gets very flaky and dry. But if I try to scratch it off it gets bloody and wet? Then it just seems to dry up and flake over again. I clean my ears everyday and make sure there is no soap in my ears. Do you know what I could use to make this stop? It would help a lot. Also, I've been told to use polysporin. Will that help?

Thanks so much!

Resonse to Psoriasis In My Ears

Hi Karlee,

When using medicines such as polysporin, you are trying to treat your condition with a toxic chemical. Polysporin typically causes burning, redness, or irritation on the skin it is applied on. I don't think this is the result you are looking for.

The number one product I would recommend for the psoriasis on your ears is our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM which is specifically designed for the thicker skin such as found on the ears. This cream has amazing anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties that will prevent any bacteria growth or infection while repairing the skin from the symptoms of psoriasis. Our cream does this by penetrating the 7 layers of skin and restoring healthy function to that area from the bottom up bringing balance repair.

Keep me posted on your progress Karlee.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
