Psoriasis

For about a year now my 5-year-old son's knees have been progressively getting dryer, more scaly and they sometimes even break open with bleeding cracks. I thought it was dermatitis because I have that, but the steroid cream he was given wasn't working.
I started researching to see what I could do for him and found your website. I purchased the cleanser and cream and right away I noticed a difference. However, in the last week I feel like it's starting to flair up again even though we are very adamant about putting the cream on twice a day and only having him wash with the cleanser. He only uses the cleanser every other day as he only takes a shower every other day.
I was just wondering if I need to use the cleanser everyday or if using it just when he showers is o.k. And is there anything else I could be doing for him? Sometimes he says that it hurts when he puts pressure on it. I guess I was hoping that it would just disappear...as a mom, I just want to take it away so he doesn't have to worry about it.
I am attaching a picture of what his knees looked like right before we started using the products. They are a lot less 'white'/scaly now that we've used the products for a while, but the patches are still red and seem a little more irritated lately.
Any advice you could share would be wonderful! Thanks so much for your time!
