Response To Ringworm
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Nicky,

Let me begin by saying that ringworm was once thought to be an actual worm lurking beneath the skin but is a common fungal infection of the skin of the skin or scalp. This condition often begins as a round, itchy red patch with a raised outside edge that grows outwards. As it expands the middle area heals, but all round it is a red scaly ring where infection continues to spread.

Typical scalp ringworm symptoms are reddening, crusting, and scaling of the scalp. Intense itching usually occurs as well. Hair loss is also often caused by scalp ringworm. Lymph nodes in the neck region may become swollen. It is important to recognize the difference from this condition and other conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, etc. and their symptoms.

Causes of ringworm are a group of mold type skin fungi, called dermatophytes, which invade the dead outer layer of the skin, called keratin. They require keratin for nutrition to survive. Ringworm infection never becomes deep and invasive, remains always superficial on the outer skin layer. Fungi thrives in warm, moist and dark environments, as any warm climate, communal bath, shower floor and wall, swimming pools, locker rooms or skin folds. Most people are likely getting ringworm infection at those places.

If you have more than 3 ringworm patches or the infected area is big and spreading you should combine external treatment with internal ringworm cures. Here are my recommendations:

Use either our TEA TREE OIL or OIL OF CAJEPUT which are great anti-viral and anti-bacterial agents and can be applied to the symptoms of ringworm or 2 to 3 drops can be added to our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM or our HAND & BODY THERACREAM and applied twice daily. All of our products contain urea which provides additional anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Our creams will help to restore the proper PH of the skin which makes the skin resistant to infections as fungal growth.

On a dietary level, you can starve the ringworm fungi by avoiding sugars, alcohol, refined foods, junk and preserved food, which feed the ringworms. You should also eat plenty of garlic, at least two whole cloves a day. Eat a good portion of live, plain (no sugar) yogurt daily, to maintain the balance of beneficial probiotic bacteria in the gut. All the B vitamins are important too, eat wholemeal bread, brown rice, sunflower seeds, lentils. Get extra zinc from eggs, sardines, pumpkin seeds.

I would also highly recommend using our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER as it will draw out poisons, toxins, and heavy metals such as mercury and lead and even remove radioactive materials such as strontium-90. This formula will also remove over 3000 known chemicals and pharmaceutical-drug residues. It destroys Candida overgrowth, and destroys and expels parasites and relieves gas, mucous and cramps.

Please keep me posted on your progress Nicky.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
