Scalp Very Itchy/ Swollen Eye Lids

Hi Nanette

I am 43 years and my scalp is very itchy and I actually scratch the scabs till it bleeds. The doctor has given me a cream to apply Fucidin. Is there any shampoo that I should be washing my hair with?

Also, my dermatologist advised that I have
adult Atopic Dermatitis around my eyelids that are
red, puffy, dry and itchy and she gave me 1% cortosone and hyderm. I'm worried because it is so close to my eyes.

Response To Scalp Very Itchy / Swollen Eye Lids

Hello Lana,

When the scalp gets that itch and scabby, it becomes exceedingly challenging to NOT SCRATCH! You said your doctor gave you Fucidin which is a cream containing fusidic acid which for our website viewers, I will say can have side effects and harmful risks in the use of this drug. You also mentioned being given some hydrocortisone cream for your eyelids....my suggestion to all these topical drugs is to use only natural products on your skin! Just as the body responds to wholesome foods, the skin responds to health building ingredients.

I will give you my recommendations for your scalp condition and for your Atopic Dermatitis around your eyelids.

For your scalp:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. And most especially in your case, you will greatly benefit from its tremendous anti-itch properties. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

For your Atopic Dermatitis around your eyelids:

The 2 products I absolutely recommend are: our FACE & BODY MOISTURIZING WASH and our FACE & NECK THERACREAM, to be used morning and night. You may also apply the face cream anytime during the day as needed for the first few weeks. These products provide anti itch and anti inflammatory properties and will begin healing and repairing the skin 7 layers deep and will bring back the balance and restoration to your eyelid area.

Please keep me posted on your progress Lana.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
