Side Effects of Steroidal Creams - Very Sad

My husband has been using steroidal creams and associated products all of his 53 years. He now has severe health problems which they attribute to this: brain aneurysms, skin discoloration, cancers (both melanoma & scaumous cell), glaucoma, arthritis, osetoarthritis, tendon damage and depression. Why do doctors continue to provide this as a treatment when there is so much conclusive evidence of significant harm done by this treatment?

Hello,

Why do doctors continue to prescribe hydrocortisone and other steroid creams despite the conclusive evidence of significant harmful side effects is an excellent question! We still live in a very drug oriented society where millions of prescriptions are written daily and stronger and more harmful drugs are being manufactured "for the alleged good of mankind". Although at one time, traditional, medical doctors were thought of in a much more favorable light, today we question the high use of drugs and surgical procedures.

Today, more than ever, I feel that the basic responsibility for our health really lies on the individual. With the wealth of information on the internet as well as in our local libraries, I encourage every person to self educate themselves on the topic of natural remedies and actively seek out natural holistic care. This is not to rule out the original intent for traditional medicine, but to encourage each person to think in terms of learning about the body and its various needs for wholesome foods, water, herbal extracts, colon cleansing, supplements, natural creams, cleansers, shampoos and so forth. With knowledge, comes the greater ability to make more informed decisions about our lives and our loved ones. This is the very reason we developed this website you are now on, to provide our viewers with a knowledge that can lead to greater health and wellness.

I am sure my lymphoma was caused by constant use of 1% over the counter hydrocortisone which I used for four years. No matter what anyone says, I firmly believe it.
