What Makes Urea Cream
So Extraordinary?

Urea cream is the #1 skin remedy for a myriad of skin conditions.. Actually, urea is a compound naturally found in the human body and exists in every HEALTHY cell. My name is Nanette and I am a Certified Master Herbalist who has studied health for many years. Here I will share about the benefits of using a urea cream.

Urea has been medically proven in various clinical studies to have extraordinary anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties that promotes fast healing of dry cracked split skin, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne, burns and other types of problem skin.

The urea in the highly therapeutic urea cream that I recommend is a white and odorless powder produced from salt compounds and DOES NOT come from any animals or humans.

The body uses this type of urea in the same way as the urea naturally found in the skin. Scientists call it a true "humectant" because it is an important component of the body's natural moisturizing factor. Unmatched for its hydrating properties, urea can increase water content to the skin to a level of 97.8%! This is far more than any other natural substance.

Found in the surface layer of the skin (epidermis), urea plays a vital role in maintaining the skin's moisture balance and the suppleness of the skin. Urea is non-toxic, non-allergenic, colorless and odorless.

Urea is naturally present in healthy skin, but when the skin is dry, and in some skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, the level of urea in the skin is greatly reduced. In the epidermis of healthy skin there is approximately 28 micrograms of urea per 2.5 square centimetres. In dry skin urea concentration is diminished by 50%, in skin affected by psoriasis urea is reduced by 40% and in skin affected by atopic eczema urea is reduced by 85%.

As a result of the reduced levels of urea, the water binding capacity of the skin is decreased and moisture is lost. This leads to roughness, tightness, scaly or flaky skin and irritation.

In combination with other effective and natural antioxidant ingredients, a great urea cream gives your skin the ability to attract moisture from the atmosphere and "pump" it back into thirsty cells.

Urea causes hard dry skin cells to "unpack" and expose their water binding sites, thereby enabling the cell to absorb and retain additional moisture.

This action is also known as hydrotopic solubilization and several independent clinical investigations and studies prove that it works. By virtue of it's inherent qualities urea skin cream produces astonishing results as an eczema skin treatment and a psoriasis skin treatment.

Urea Cream Adds Much Needed Moisture ***Clinical Studies***

In a clinical study, urea has been proven to heal serious wounds and burns without any scarring.

Further studies have shown tremendous anti-bacterial and anti-septic qualities which is critical in preventing skin infections.

Urea has an antipruritic (anti-itching) effect that has a very rapid effect on problematic red itchy skin rashes and even the common mosquito bite. A large number of studies have confirmed the beneficial effect of urea creams for many of the skin problems people face today. Evidence shows that urea cream is useful for all degrees of dry skin.

If the skin is very dry and scaly, a large amount of the cream is taken up by the horny layer. Urea may produce a temporary minor sting due to hypo-osmolarity (intense penetration) of the cream and not because it is irritating to the skin.

Urea is much more than just a moisturizer because unlike other creams and lotions, it has many different beneficial effects on the skin: it not only acts as an extraordinary therapeutic agent for skin disorders, but also attracts moisture to the skin while at the same time preventing water loss in the skin layers.

As research studies show, urea replenishes the water content of the skin because it binds hydrogen and attracts moisture to the skin in a way that no mineral oil or glycerine-based lotions or creams can.

In the many years of laboratory studies researchers discovered that, unlike just about all other types of moisturizers that contain high levels of pore clogging mineral oil that simply sits on the top layers of the skin and do nothing to improve, urea actually increases the water-binding capacity of the skin by opening the 7 skin layers for hydrogen bonding, which then attracts moisture to dry skin cells.

Not all urea creams are alike! I recommend becoming "label readers" and to stay away from the many products that are on the market today that contain a cocktail of harmful ingredients. Some companies will even "sprinkle" in a little urea to their mix of unpronounceable chemical filled ingredients and dishonestly call their product "healthy"! As always, buyer beware would apply.

**NOTE** Independent studies have concluded the following: Water hydration in the skin was measured after a 10% and 20% urea cream was added and showed a sharp increase by 97.8%. On the other hand, mineral oil decreased skin moisture by 41.5% and petrolatum decreased skin moisture by 62% respectively.

Urea Cream Makes The Best Cosmetic Cream ***On The Beauty End***

On the beauty end, urea penetrates the deepest layers of the skin where it actually binds water in the horny skin layers, plumping up the skin for a firm, supple, wrinkle-free appearance, (water retention within skin cells gives skin its elasticity and wrinkle-free appearance) providing skin renewal and benefits that other formulas cannot.

Urea is naturally found in healthy, young skin and is an important part of your skin's natural, moisturizing system.

Urea is a scientifically proven moisturizer and is a far better moisturizer and skin treatment than even the most expensive oil-based creams or lotions that you can buy or get as a prescription from your doctor.

Skin needs water, not oils, to make it soft and younger looking.

Almost all of the commercial and often astronomically expensive lotions and creams we buy to soften dry skin are composed of lipids, or oily substances, like mineral oil, which we think will moisturize and beautify our skin. But in reality, urea does a much better job of moisturizing the skin than oil-based moisturizers because it keeps water within the skin layers, making it supple and soft.

You'll be absolutely amazed at the softness and beauty of your skin after even one treatment with urea cream. Old dead skin immediately flakes away, and your skin becomes wonderfully soft, rosey and with time, even wrinkles will disappear.

***Of Special Note***

Some of the creams that are advertised to help prevent wrinkling may actually cause it. Many Alpha Hydroxy, Estrogen and Retin-A creams rely on chemical exfoliation to reverse or counter the aging process.

These creams actually peel off the outer layer of skin to make the skin appear more shiny. Many women who use them get a flaky peel and redness that is not flattering.

Constant application of these creams can strip off the protective keratin layer that covers the skin, increase fluid loss and actually increase wrinkling and facial folds.
