Urea Cream

by Alan
(Rochester, NY)

I have been prescribed urea cream from my podiatrist for the bottom of my feet. I was wondering if I can use the same cream on my chafed hands which looks like the psoriasis I have on my elbows? I also read on the internet to wash my hands before and after applying urea cream. Can you please comment on this?
Thanks,
Alan

Response to Urea Cream

Hi Alan,

I would have some questions for you before I can sufficiently answer your questions. What is the name of the prescribed urea cream? Does it contain steroids or is it a "prescribed over the counter" product? Is it working to restore the bottom of your feet? I would need the answers to these questions to help me know what exactly it is you are presently using.

A natural urea cream such as the creams we have formulated, can be used anywhere on the body without a need to wash your hands after applying - why wash off a health building cream?
I would say that all urea creams are not the same. Putting urea in a base of steroids, petroleum and other harmful and toxic chemicals is not going to build health to your skin overall. It really does matter what your urea cream ingredients include. We have placed the highest, most natural ingredients in our entire product line because we know how important it is to feed the skin only natural and healthy nutrients.

I would recommend being an avid "label reader" and I look forward to hearing the answers to the above questions so I can help you further.

Please keep in touch Alan.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
