Dandruff And Severe Itching

by Peter Van

I have a similar problem to those who have commented above. I have had dandruff for a while that has steadily gotten worse at age 23. I tried multiple shampoos. I thought I had finally gotten rid of most of it with a combination of Head & Shoulders, and some other kind I can't remember in a blue bottle. But now I'm getting severe itch attacks when outside, which is frequent when working, especially when starting to sweat. It lasts about 5-10 minutes and usually starts to calm down but it seems it might be spreading a bit to my face other areas when the itch is on.

Response To Dandruff And Severe Itching
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Peter,
One of the goals of our website is to provide extensive information on how to care for the skin, scalp and body as a whole - naturally". I am very big on folks becoming "label readers" so that they can know what harmful chemicals in everyday products can do to hurt their body.

These are the ingredients in the Head & Shoulders product you have been using. Pyrithione zinc 1%, water, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamide MEA, zinc carbonate, glycol distearate, dimethicone, fragrance, cetyl alcohol, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, magnesium sulfate, sodium benzoate, magnesium carbonate hydroxide, ammonium laureth sulfate, benzyl alcohol, sodium chloride, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, sodium xylenesulfonate, blue 1, red 4

Sodium lauryl sulfate is used because it is an inexpensive detergent and has cancer causing properties. Benzyl alcohol is used as a general solvent for inks, paints, lacquers, and epoxy resin coatings. If you see the word "fragrance" on the ingredient list it means synthetic ingredients that can cause allergic reactions. Anything with dyes in it, such as the blue and red dyes contained in this product will be toxic to your body.
The big ingredient I want to draw your attention to is zinc pyrithione which is used in outdoor paints and other products such as household sponges and in its industrial forms and strengths, it may be harmful by contact or ingestion. Recent research suggests that zinc pyrithione is a potent heat shock response inducer that may cause DNA damage and PARP-dependent energy crisis in cultured human keratinocytes and melanocytes.

The heat shock pathway is a biochemical mechanism found in almost all cells and all organisms and scientists believe it helps cells deal with stressors -- including excessive heat or chemical toxins. The severe itching you are experiencing when you sweat and your body heats up may very well be your body's response mechanism to the chemicals in this product. Further, as we wash our hair, keep in mind that the soapy suds flow down our face as we wash and then rinse our heads, hence the reaction to your face becoming itchy as well.

I strongly recommend using our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM combined with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT as these provide a natural, health building powerful remedy for your scalp condition. Apply the cream at night on the areas of the scalp directly affected and in the morning wash with the shampoo. These two products work by starting from the bottom of the scalp tissue on up....7 layers deep thus repairing the scalp thoroughly and restoring it with health and balance again. They will provide anti itch, anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties. Once your scalp condition is gone, simply continue using the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT whenever you wash your hair to keep the scalp healthy with the proper PH balance.
Please keep me posted on your progress Peter.
Warm Regards,
Nanette

by Sheela
(Banglore, India)

Hi,

It's me, Sheela from India currently, basically from Nepal. I have a mid back level hair. I am having a very dry scalp since I migrated to India (2 years before)for my further study. And if the same thing goes on I don't know how will I continue 2 more years...my scalp wasn't dry up to this limit. I feel shy to style my hair in a ponytail due to dandruff. Would you please suggest to me how to get rid of this dry scalp?

Hello Sheela,

So many factors can have a damaging effect on the scalp such as change of climate, diet, stress, hormones and many other possibilities. I will recommend the following to help your scalp resume a healthy and balanced state once again.

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected and be sure to do this very gently. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash their hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells down to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again. They will also stop any itching and provide anti bacterial protection while working.

Once their scalp condition is repaired they need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep their scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted on their progress Sheela.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Dry Flaky Scalp

by Mindy
(Australia)

Hi,

My name is Mindy and I have been suffering from what I think is severe scalp problem for years. I'm so happy I found this site because I'm so tired of this problem. The skin is very thick, flaky and goes right to my ears. I have been to my doctor three times and she has given me different things to try and although one of them seemed to work but it all came back again. My mom then bought me some shampoo. It too seemed to work ok but then it all just came back again. Sometimes when it does come off, this gooey stuff comes out of my head and the only thing that seems to stop it for a little is a zinc product a lady at the pharmacy recommended. My question for you is will your shampoo and double strength cream get rid of it and make it not come back? Also my mom is allergic to pollen and when she goes swimming in our lake at our cottage she gets awful rashes that last for weeks. Would the cream help that too?

Response To Dry Flaky Scalp
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Mindy,

So many products on the market fail to provide the relief from dry, flaky scalp conditions since most of these products are filled with chemicals and hurt rather than heal the scalp. Steroid creams, salves and shampoos are harsh and very toxic and can actually worsen the scalp condition in addition to weakening the immune system in the body.

I strongly recommend using our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM combined with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT as these provide a powerful remedy for your scalp condition. They work by starting from the bottom of the scalp tissue on up....7 layers deep thus repairing the scalp thoroughly and restoring it with health and balance again. Once your scalp condition is gone, simply continue using the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT whenever you wash your hair to keep the scalp healthy with the proper PH balance.

And please tell your mom, Mindy, that the DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM will also provide a tremendous remedy for her rash in addition to providing a protective layer to her skin.

Please keep me posted on your progress Mindy.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Dandruff problem !!!!

by Sam
(USA)

Hello

My dandruff is bugging me day and night. My problem is that my scalp is weird. It is dry of course, so much dry that I even get dandruff in my eyebrows. Even after applying anti dandruff shampoos, if I just scratch my scalp once, dandruff surfaces up again.

Why I called it weird is because though, my scalp is dry, if I don't wash my head for a day, it turns oily and all the dandruff surfaces up and gets stuck to my oily hair. (I don't apply any oil but still it turns oily all by itself IF I DON'T WASH IT EVERYDAY) And if I do wash it everyday, then by the end of the day, dandruff is still visible again. So I have to wash my head everyday.

Another problem is the heat. If I stand in the sun for long, the heat makes my scalp itchy and after I scratch it, dandruff shows up.

Is there a solution to my problem? Any remedy or any product that I can use?

Thanks,
Sam

Response to Dandruff Problem
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hi Sam,

You're right....scalp problems can be very persistent and become quite a problem on a daily basis and under various conditions.

I can tell you that most of the shampoos on the market rank among the products most often reported to the Food and Drug Administration in association with dry scalp, irritation and outbreaks, stinging eyes, and tangled, split, and fuzzy hair. Furthermore, the chemicals contained in most hair products are damaging to the immune system, especially within the skin. Skin layers may separate and inflame due to its protein denaturing properties.

My recommendation is that just as the body responds to natural and health building foods, you need to use a natural shampoo that doesn't disturb the PH of the hair & scalp like most commercial shampoos do. Our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT is specially formulated to restore, repair and hydrate the scalp for long lasting relief and health which is what we all want.

Your condition sounds more severe than most so for you I recommend that you follow this routine: At night before bedtime, rub in our therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into your scalp. This double strength formula penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow it to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue and wash your hair in the morning. Repeat this as necessary until the problem is gone.

Let me know how you are doing with these recommendations and feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrhea

by Madeline
(Philadelphia, PA)

Hello Nanette,

I first got Seborrhea in the late 2000's, had biopsy in 2001 in my head, no more, to see if I had lupus....I was diagnosed with Seborrhea. It is back really bad now, about one month.
I've been using permanent dye, Nice and Easy over 20 years, do you think I should use another brand? Maybe I have become allergic to this dye, is this possible? I am going to take a dye test within a few weeks before coloring my hair, the reddish is on my entire hairline...98% doesn't itch. I've started using anti fungal cream and a cortisone cream for my conditions, tea tree, nothing is working. What products can I use to wash and creams? I'm AA, so I can not wash my hair everyday. I wash my hair every 7 - 2 weeks, I live in Philadelphia, very cold here now.
Thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you real soon.

It works!!!
by: Becky Browning

I have been to dermatologists and they gave me washes and steroid creams that made my seborrhea on my face worse. So when I ordered the Face & Body Wash and the Face & Neck TheraCream from this site I didn't take before and after pics because I didn't believe it would work.

Guess what? It worked!!!! Yes, it took time to clear up but now I have NO problems at all!!!! I will be a life time customer!

My advice is to give your skin a chance to get over the effects of the other products....just give this miracle wash and cream a chance to do its job and you wont be disappointed!!

Response To: Seborrhea
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Madeline,
First I will explain that Seborrhea or Seborrheic Dermatitis as it is also called, is an inflammatory condition that causes flaky, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas such as the scalp or inside the ear. It can occur with or without reddened skin and is characterized by intermittent, active phases that manifest with burning, scaling, and itching, alternating with inactive periods. Activity is usually increased in the winter and early spring. Although the exact cause of seborrheic dermatitis is unknown, there are a number of possible causes. These include: stress, fatigue, weather extremes, oily skin, infrequent shampoos or skin cleaning, use of shampoos that contain alcohol and other toxic hair products, neurologic conditions, genetic origin, and possibly a combination of an over production of skin oil and irritation from a yeast called malessizia.

The permanent hair dye that you have been using for 20 years is surely hindering the health of your scalp as well as your entire body as the harsh chemicals in these products can penetrate the scalp, enter the blood stream and do damage to your immune system and organs.

You mentioned using cortisone cream but you should know that steroid products are harsh and produce many dangerous side effects. These side effects include: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system and steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of!

Here are my strong recommendations: first, rub in our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected as well as the entire hairline. This natural cream penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. It has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties and further alleviates any associated itching and will absorb into the 7 layers of scalp tissue. Next, wash with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and assist your scalp in regaining a healthy balance once again as well as restore its proper PH.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

To help rid your body of toxins from years of using the hair dye, I would further recommend cleansing your colon with our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER. It will help your body to restore and build your immune system by removing impacted waste matter and toxic build up as well as assist in cleansing the liver and kidneys.

Please keep me posted on your progress Madeline. Also, the following website claims to have natural hair color and you may want to explore the possibilities. www.palettebynature.com

Nanette

Flaky Dry Skin And Scalp

by Ester McDaniel
(Iowa)

I started caring for my face only about 3 weeks ago with your Face & Neck TheraCream and just love what it is doing for me. I also started using your My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream on my body and it is amazing how the flakes and bumps have disappeared. I diagnosed myself with ichthyosis after finding the description of it on the net about 10 years ago. Sorry, I can't take a picture of my pre-existing skin; I used your products twice and it almost looks normal already.

I have had this skin problem since I was about 3-4 months old and am now 77 year of age. I have put up with embarrassment (people asking why my skin was so flakey and rough), and a constant clean-up of the flakes all over the house. I always had dry skin on my shoulders from on my head and dandruff shampoo did nothing. When I lived in cold weather my legs and heels were cracked and bleeding all winter long.

It is a pleasure at 77 years of age to have found a cream, lotion and shampoo that corrects my skin problem. Dermatologists that I have gone to periodically throughout my life never suggested to use a cream with Urea in it. Your products were what it took to have normal skin for me.

If there is anything I can do to spread the news to others that have gone through what I have please let me know. Sincerely, Ester McDaniel, Iowa

Dandruff Gone Wild

by Ivan Costa
(UK)

I've dealt with "normal" dandruff off and on over the year, but last summer it morphed into full blow Seborrheic Dermatitis. I lost hair, had eczema patch-like scales along my hair line, with an itchy and bone dry scalp. It was awful. I changed my diet and eliminated all processed sugars, alcohol, simple carbs, caff. etc. It helped some esp. with the itching, but it didn't go far enough to manage the flakes and dry scalp and hair. My doctor prescribed Nizoral and it seemed to work some at first but destroyed my hair which is now wispy and dry. I then tried Zincplex and it worked well in terms of "flake management" but it is drying and I still need to use it daily. And my hair was still so dry it wouldn't hold conditioner or even oil treatments.

Out of desperation I've tried every remedy I could find and take everything and anything in terms of supplements, yoga, etc. Then I cam across your products. THANK YOU! The Herbal Shampoo Treatment and especially the Double Strength TheraCream are right now the best solution to manage this condition. And though I'm not rid of the flaking 100% yet, the dry - pulling scalp are a thing of the past. Most of my hair has grown back and more importantly, it feels "normal" again.

I have a process by which I wet my hair slightly and rub in your TheraCream onto my scalp and then comb through. I leave it on anywhere from a few hours to overnight. Next I wash my hair with your wonderful Herbal Shampoo Treatment, and WHA-LA, my hair feels wonderful and scalp is 90% plus free of flakes.

Cheers, Ivan Costa

Hello Ranesha,

First, I would eliminate food or airborne allergies that may be causing her to continually have open, oozing sores. Next, she could be reacting to the chemicals in the shampoo that you are presently using.

Here is what I strongly recommend:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected and be sure to do this very gently. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster helping the sores begin to heal. It will also stop the itching and provide anti bacterial protection to her scalp. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash her hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with health building nutrients. Once her scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep her scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted as to your progress Ranesha.

Response To Dry Itchy Bleeding Scalp
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Jackie,

Indeed, the scalp can get so dry that it itches and bleeds quite easily. Many people try their best during the daytime to not scratch their dry scalp however, at night and while sleeping, they will scratch quite a bit causing more irritation and bleeding.

Here are my recommendations for your scalp condition Jackie:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. And most especially in your case, you will greatly benefit from its tremendous anti-itch properties. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted as to your results Jackie.

Dry Flaky Scalp Treatment

by Helen
(Australia)

Hello Nanette,

Today, I received my jar of Double Strength TheraCream and Herbal Shampoo. I would just like to ask a couple of questions about its use if I may.

At the moment I have an excessively dry scalp, more than usual, which began on an overseas trip a month ago, the different water and allergy fraught spring time made the problem worse. Back here in Australia it is winter which causes my skin to be dry anyway. The scalp is really tight and flaky, sometimes it feels quite sore. It is not in patches but covers the whole scalp, this has caused my hair to become thinner all over especially the crown where you can see my scalp. I have always had a dry scalp and battled it all my life, I guess it was exacerbated when I developed type 1 diabetes at age 15. I usually wash my hair once a week because of the dryness, therefore the questions I want to ask is how much of the Double Strength TheraCream should I apply at one time? Also I was reading that to help with the dryness, the cream should be applied, left overnight and washed out the next morning and to encourage hair growth so should the cream be applied more often and how many times a week should I go through this process to get the proper results?

I have taken some photos of my scalp now and I look forward to your advice so I can start the treatment. On completion, I will take more photos and send the results.

Kind regards
Helen

Hello Helen,

Glad to hear you received your products and will be starting your scalp treatment. To answer your questions on the specific usage of our products, this is what I recommend. Apply a light coat of our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM to the areas of your scalp that are dry and flaky. Only a light coat, applied under the hair and directly onto the scalp is necessary as this cream quickly absorbs and penetrates the 7 layers of skin. I recommend your doing this every other night to nightly and I recommend you wash your hair 2 to 3 times per week with the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT while doing this treatment - especially in light of refreshing the hair follicles and encouraging hair growth as well. Remember that consistency and diligence are important and you will see your scalp respond beautifully.

Please keep me posted on your results Helen.

Dandruff - Itchy, Flaky Scalp And Skin

(USA)

Hi Nanette,

I have had severe scalp problems since I was a kid and it gets worse over time. I have very itchy, flaky, irritated skin...it seems to be in patches, although its gotten so bad I can't tell anymore :o( I'm also experiencing a big reoccurring dry patch under my chin leading down to my neck on my right side. It comes and goes...it's also itchy and every now and again a similar rash appears around the corners of my nose. When I hit 23 I developed congested skin and acne....I'm so upset. I'm doing a parasite cleanse right now and I eat extremely clean...the majority of my diet is raw, I add in brown rice, quinoa, hard boiled eggs, and lean meats (mostly fish). I take supplements also. Please, please help...doctors only make it worse and they want to put me on Acutane. Thank you so much!

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

At your young age, it certainly sounds like your body is going through some trauma. So many people, like yourself, are just fed up with prescription steroid creams and injections, which are the cause of endless side effects, that never resolve their skin and scalp condition. I am very relieved that you decided NOT to go on Accutane!! For our website viewers I will say that Accutane causes serious permanent side effects!! These include: causes growth plates to fuse (that's right, it stops your growth!), causes permanent vision problems, causes hair to fall out causing baldness long after you've stopped taking it, can cause serious cases of arthritis long after you stop using Accutane, causes permanent liver damage and Accutane can cause serious birth defects long after you've stopped taking it. All of these side effects are admitted by the manufacture. They know Accutane is dangerous!!!

You said you cannot use any shampoos that lather, well, most of the shampoos on the market contain the toxic chemical SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE -which is an inexpensive detergent and makes mixtures foam well but has cancer causing properties. You see, the skin provides an added feature for its care and maintenance in that you can "feed" it internally as well as "feed" it externally as a direct source of nutrients and health building ingredients. I will give you my strong recommendations to stop the itching, flaking and subsequent hair loss, which will revitalize your scalp and allow for healthy hair growth.

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected as it penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. This cream will stop the itching and begin to lift up all the layers of dead cells (seen as flakes) that are clogging the hair follicles and throwing off the balance of the scalp and hair growth.

For your skin: first, use our FACE & BODY WASH which will deeply cleanse AND MOISTURIZE your skin even before you apply cream. This is an important feature since your cleanser should leave you with a plus moisture level and not a minus moisture level!

Next you will want to apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM for the facial area and our MY DAUGHTER'S HAND & BODY THERACREAM for the body, twice daily. These rich creams penetrate all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface. Further, they will stop any itching and reduce any redness as it has anti-inflammatory properties.

Please keep me posted on your progress as you begin your new regimen.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hello Colette,

Dry scalp can have many possible underlying causes. However, the number one cause of dry scalp is still the use of hair products that contain any number of damaging chemicals. Add to this, blow drying of the hair can have a huge drying effect on the scalp and should be kept to a minimum.

To bring your scalp back to a healthy balance, I recommend the following. At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the scalp. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. It has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties and further alleviates any associated itching from dry scalp. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

Next, when you wash your hair and scalp use our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and assist your scalp in regaining a healthy balance once again as well as restore its proper PH.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted on your progress Colette. Also, please note that we refer all of our International customers to our sister website at: www.aim2health.com where you can order all of the same products as are available on this website.

Dermtitis On My Scalp, Face And Dark Blackish Spots Around The Nose

by TM Holloway
(Rochester, NY,, US)

I was wondering if Sulfur 8 Shampoo is good to use. My scalp is irritated in the middle and flaky around the edges of my hair. The shampoo has relieved the itching for the most part...now my question is will using the shea butter on my scalp relieve my symptoms and should I use a different shampoo? Also, the dermatitis around my nose has left the sides of my nose black and discolored, will the shea butter alone decrease the discoloration or should I add another method?

Hello TM,
I will explain that Sulfur 8 contains the ingredients: triclosan, water, TEA-lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, lauramide DEA, cocoamphoacetate, fragrance, disodium EDTA, sodium chloride, Yellow 6, and Blue 1(color/dyes). However, some of these ingredients have hazardous side effects and here's why:
Triclosan - is a chlorophenol, which can cause cancer in humans. Scientific studies show triclosan can produce bacteria resistant to antibiotics and can combine with chlorine in tap water to form chloroform gas and other harmful compounds. Sodium Laureth Sulfate - is the alcohol form of its cousin, sodium lauryl sulfate. Both are contained in many personal care products due to their cheap cost and both are harmful and and cause eye and skin irritation. Lauramide DEA - is a mixture of ethanolamides of lauric acid and studies have linked lauramide DEA to tumor formation.

In my professional opinion, Sulfur 8 Shampoo is NOT the a good choice to use based on the above facts. The two products I would highly recommend are our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT combined with our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM. Both of these products contain urea, a strong humectant and healing agent, and shea butter. Our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM contains 25% shea butter and 20% urea.

At night before bedtime, rub in our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Applying this cream will stop the itching and begin to lift up all the layers of dead cells (seen as flakes) that are clogging the hair follicles and throwing off the balance of the scalp. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. Know that these 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again restoring your natural PH balance. Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

For the dermatitis on your face and around your nose, I recommend that you first wash with our FACE & BODY WASH which is a hypo-allergenic wash which helps the process of washing away the dead skin cells from the skin while providing an anti bacterial cleansing. This is critical in order to begin the healing process. Next apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily focusing on the areas exhibiting the symptoms. This rich cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to restore and repair from the bottom up to the very skin surface. The dermatitis symptoms and darkened skin tones will dissipate as balance begins to be restored. Please keep me posted as to your results TM.
Warm Regards, Nanette

Hello Rizia,

I will give you my recommendations to help treat your itchy scalp, dandruff and facial rashes. Hopefully you are not using any steroid or hydrocortisone creams or shampoos as these produce harmful side effects and will only result in a "rebound" effect where your condition returns time and time again, and many times worse! The natural products I will recommend contain health building, restorative ingredients.

For your scalp, I recommend only washing with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT as this will relieve the dandruff symptoms of the scalp, stop itching, restore the natural PH of the scalp and provide anti bacterial protection.

I have two very natural and deep penetrating products that I highly recommend to you for your face. You can use them daily. First, what you wash with is so very important and I can't emphasize this enough. Many products on the market today are loaded with harsh, drying ingredients that strip the natural PH of your skin leaving it further vulnerable to the effects of sun, wind and environmental air. Use our gentle and pure FACE & BODY WASH that will deeply cleanse and moisturize your skin even before you apply cream. This is an important feature since your cleanser should leave you with a plus moisture level and not a minus moisture level!

Next you will want to apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily. This hypo-allergenic cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to relieve your rash, unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface helping to restore balance. Both of these products are formulated with skin nurturing ingredients that repair, restore and replenish natural moisture levels in the skin.

Please keep me posted on your progress Rizia.
(please note that for International orders outside the USA, you can go to our sister site at www.aim2health.com which carries all of the same products.)

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Dandruff And Itchy Scalp

by Cristi Khanhkham
(Grand Prairie, Tx, US)

My hair is naturally long and quite healthy. Everyone plays with it and adores it, but recently my scalp has been itching like crazy, and I've had so much dandruff falling off that I see it on my laptop! I wake up in the middle of night just scratching, so I comb my hair and I see LOTS of hair fall out. I use Garner, and Suave shampoo and conditioner. But they have never affected me before. My diet has been balanced also. It is winter , and that may be the cause, but it hasn't happened before either. So I have no idea what the problem could be. Do you have any idea?

Hi Cristi,

It certainly sounds like your scalp is experiencing a breakdown so to speak. Regarding the now "ineffectiveness" of your shampoo and conditioner - there are several reasons for this. If using a certain product, let's say for a few years, you suddenly notice that you are developing dry, itchy, flaky scalp, this is a result of the body reaching its "threshold of tolerance" to the chemicals in that particular product. In other words, there is only so much toxicity a body can tolerate, hence the "reaction" to its ingredients. Then you reach for a new product which seems to be working great. However, shortly after, your symptoms return only worse. This is due to the fact that most products do not penetrate the 7 layers of skin/scalp necessary to repair the dermatitis, psoriasis or eczema for example. The symptoms seem to improve but are only being suppressed until finally they manifest themselves once again.

Here are my recommendations for your scalp condition Cristi:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hyp-allergenic and filled with nutrients.

Please keep me posted as to your results Cristi.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Flaking Dry Itchy Scabs And Little Bumps

by Melody
(Montreal)

My boyfriend started to get dry scalp and flaking. I didn't think much of it until he started to get scabs. Now it's been a year and he still hasn't gotten rid of it and he has a couple scabs on his head and I tell him don't touch it because it will just irritate it if he keeps scratching. But he doesn't listen and he scratches it until it bleeds. He also has a lot of flaking and just recently started getting little bumps at the back of his head. You could feel them but not really see them because his hair is in the way, but I would really like to know what is wrong with his scalp and how to help it get better. Please help.

Hello Melody,

Although it is difficult to say what is directly affecting your boyfriend's scalp without getting more information about him, I can tell you what my recommendations are to help it return to a healthy state once again.

Since your boyfriend's condition has advanced from dry, flaky scalp to include itchy scabs and bumps, the following is what I recommend for him:

1) At night before bedtime, he will need to rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, he will need to wash his hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp, stop itching immediately and restore much needed moisture and help the scalp regain a healthy balance once again.

Once his scalp condition is repaired he need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep his scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted as to your boyfriend's results Melody.

Dry Itchy Flaky Scalp

by Gwen
(Colorado)

My four year old son had a patch of dry, itchy, flaky skin on his head. At times it would be so bad that he would scratch and cut himself. I tried everything for a year. Nothing worked...until I tried your Herbal Shampoo Treatment and Double Strength TheraCream. Within a couple of days it was healed. His head hasn't itched ever since I started using the shampoo and cream. I am so relieved! I won't use any other shampoo. Really, yours is the best! I would recommend these products to anyone and everyone.

Happy Holidays!

Itchy Scalp And Dandruff

Hi,

I've been fighting very dry, itchy scalp for some time now. It was under control when I was using Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo - been using it for about a year now, and then all of a sudden, this winter, the dry, itchy scalp returned. My scalp is so dry that when I even rub my scalp, I get uncontrollable dandruff and it's embarrassing and makes me very self conscious. I've tried MILLIONS of products and they never worked, so will your products work for me? Also,do you offer conditioner along with your shampoo, since I'm a daily user of conditioner after shampooing my hair.

Please let me know.
Thank you!

Hello,

Dry, itchy, flaky scalp can certainly cause embarrassment and a feeling of being self conscious. To begin with, for our website viewers I will say that Nizoral is an anti-dandruff shampoo that contains the active ingredient ketoconazole, which is a type of medicine called an antifungal. Ketoconazole kills fungi and yeasts by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, causing holes to appear in it. You should know that medicated products force the body to respond in a certain way but there is most always a "rebound effect" when you stop using it and many times, even during usage.

Just 3 of Nizoral's ingredients include the following:
1) FRAGRANCE - if you see the word "fragrance" on the ingredient list it means synthetic ingredients that can cause allergic reactions.

2) SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE - used because it is an inexpensive detergent and makes mixtures foam well but has cancer causing properties. ?

3) FD&C BLUE 1 - synthetic ingredients that are highly carcinogenic.

Unfortunately, Nizoral also has the following possible side effects!
* Burning sensation.
* Itching (pruritus).
* Allergic inflammation of the skin (contact dermatitis).
* Dry hair.
* Oily hair.
* Discoloration of hair (rare and mainly affecting chemically-damaged or grey hair).
* Eczema.
* Hair loss.
These side effects listed above may not even include all of the side effects reported by the drug's manufacturer.

You mentioned trying many, many other products as well, but truthfully, so many products on the market fail to provide the relief from dry, flaky scalp conditions since most of these products are filled with chemicals and hurt rather than heal the scalp.

As an Herbalist, I strongly feel that natural is the best way to treat dry, itchy, flaky scalp.
Here is what I highly recommend:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash their hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry skin cells in the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again. They will also stop any itching and provide anti bacterial protection while working.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted on their progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Itchy Dandruff, and Hair Loss

by Steve
(Canada)

I am a male, 23, and very healthy. I'm fit, workout and follow a good diet with solid amounts of protein, while drinking 4-6 litres of water a day. However the last year I noticed my hair is thinning, and my head is itchy a lot. I scratch or rub it and tons of flakes cascade down like snow and my hair doesn't seem to fall but jump.
I used to shampoo everyday, unknowing of the harms involved, and as I grew my hair out a few years ago, my hair was never voluminous- but still a full head, I did notice I seemed to shed a lot but never took note really. I had had curly shoulder length hair, which I just recently shaved down as I noticed it really looking haggard, and a bald spot coming in the back, also to avoid me pulling anymore out when scratching.
On my dad's side the males all have full hair still into old age. On my mom's side the men lose their hair in their early-mid 30s. I take more after my moms side for sure but I would still like my hair for another ten years before saying goodbye, as well as to appease my itchy scalp. I switched about 6 weeks ago to a completely all natural shampoo, and only use it 3x every two weeks or so. Is there any way, or treatment I can use to revitalize my scalp to help allow healthy hair growth?

Hoping,
Steve

Response To Itchy Dandruff, And Hair Loss
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Steve,

It certainly sounds like you are following a healthy life style which is commendable. However, you do have a scalp condition that is affecting your hair as well. You should know that although genetics play a dominant role in our gene related appearance, much can be done about the health and wellness of our body, which of course includes the skin and scalp. I will give you my strong recommendation for you to follow to stop the itching, flaking and subsequent hair loss due to this condition, which will revitalize your scalp and allow for healthy hair growth.

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Applying this cream will stop the itching and begin to lift up all the layers of dead cells (seen as flakes) that are clogging the hair folicles and throwing off the balance of the scalp and hair growth.

Please keep me posted as to your results Steve.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
