I Now Have Dermatitis Free Skin!

by Ingeborg Kremer
(Norway )

Just wanted to say, thank you !! Thank you, thank you, thank you times a million!! I have been so troubled with skin problems. Mainly on my face for years now. I just thought this was me and I would never have a calm clear itch free, dermatitis free skin. Since I have had it for so long, this also made me try every single face remedy under the sun. And this just led me into further despair because nothing helped. In fact they just made it worse and I thought that this is just who I am. But now seriously, I don't have a spot on my face. It feels fresh and healthy and looks like I something I have never seen on me, maybe when I was a baby, but I don't remember that. I have accepted that I can not wear make up, but I can have an itch free, spotless face and I have never been so happy:) Thanks again, I will be a customer for ever!!!

My Scalp, Face & Hands Need Help - Sick Of It!

by Brenda
(NC)

I had to go to the emergency room where they gave me a shot of a steroid and it is taking a while to heal. I still have some itching on my scalp and flakes. My right hand is sore and is cracked and I'm looking for a miracle. I sleep with Vaseline which has become my best friend. I got a prescription for Atarax and Zyrtec and a cream for my hands and face which are the worst places as well as around my hairline.

Hello Brenda,

For our website viewers I will mention that both Atarax and Zyrtec are prescribed for treating itching but may only provide a temporary fix. Clearly you are still suffering quite a bit and and using Vaseline quite a lot. I will tell you that the primary ingredient in Vaseline is petroleum jelly (also known as petrolatum). Petroleum jelly is a byproduct of oil production composed mainly of mineral oils and paraffin wax. This jell clogs your pores (which may lead to acne and other forms of break out), breaks down collagen over time, is carcinogenic and over time increases dryness in your skin as petroleum (as well as the by product, mineral oil), coats the skin and prevents any moisture from entering the skin cells. Further, most soaps and shampoos not only contain harsh and toxic ingredients but are the wrong pH for your skin and scalp and can cause irritation and lead to itchy dry skin that cracks and bleeds. I highly recommend first cleansing with our gentle yet thorough All Over Face & Body Wash followed by an application of our cream. For the hands I recommend our tube of My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream, for the facial area - our Face & Neck TheraCream and for the scalp I recommend our Herbal Shampoo Treatment. Remember that the body/skin truly responds to health building ingredients.

Please keep me posted on your progress Brenda.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Adam,

I certainly can understand how an ongoing skin condition such as Seborrheic Dermatitis can cause you to feel down. But please take heart! I'm not sure what the treatments you have tried have included but healing necessitates the right ingredients. I will give you my strong recommendations for both internal and topical long term, deep down restoration.

Internally, I recommend you take our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER twice daily, to remove impacted waste matter and toxic build up as well as assist in cleansing the liver and kidneys. This will greatly help by building and strengthening your immune system which many times, skin conditions stem from a weakened immune system.

You will want to further take our GREEN POWERHOUSE several times per day to provide your body with the widest array of vitamins, minerals and enzymes needed by the body to repair and replenish. This formula also contains the highest amount of chlorophyll which further cleanses every cell as well as promotes healthy cell growth, functionality and development.

Also consider the following: L Carnosine Supplement is a potent 100% natural antioxidant and supports healthy skin and healthy aging by promoting strong cellular rejuvenation.

DMAE Supplement is a naturally occurring substance that protects the integrity of cell membranes and is a potent, site-specific free radical scavenger that has demonstrated antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Collagen Type II Supplement is a major structural protein that makes up 75 percent of our skin and plays a key role in providing the structural scaffolding for cells in the skin, tissues, and organs.

Externally, I highly recommend the following. Use our gentle and pure FACE & BODY WASH that will deeply cleanse and moisturize your skin even before you apply cream. Next you will want to apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM to the facial area and MY DAUGHTER'S HAND & BODY THERACREAM for your arms, chest, back and legs twice daily. These hypo-allergenic creams penetrate all 7 layers of skin to remove damaged cells, relieve inflammation and itching and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface helping to restore balance.

For your scalp, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected which is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster to unpack and unclog the skin layers. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

Next, wash your hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which will further unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture to the scalp and hair shafts and regain a healthy balance once again.

Once your scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep your scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted on your progress Adam.
Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hair Color

Hi Nanette;

I am growing gray around the edges, but I also use a relaxer on my hair. I have developed a topic dermatitis and so I have begun to discontinue the relaxers but I would like to continue coloring my hair. Is there anything I can use safely?

Response To Hair Color
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hi Donna,

Research has indicated sodium lauryl sulfate is damaging to the immune system, especially within the skin. Skin layers may separate and inflame due to its protein denaturing properties. Additional studies have found that sodium lauryl sulfate is heavily deposited on the skin surface and in the hair follicles causing damage to the hair follicle resulting in hair loss. Atopic dermatitis is a common result of the chemicals contained in hair products/shampoos today. Even with the products we have perhaps used for years and then "suddenly" develop a skin condition. This adverse response is due to the threshold of the body to toxins being reached and then breakout occurs.

I believe in using only naturally made products made with herbal ingredients. I have seen time and time again that using an effective shampoo is critically important. A natural shampoo doesn't disturb the natural PH of the hair & scalp like most commercial shampoos do. It soothes and hydrates the scalp for long lasting relief and health. I highly recommend using our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is pure and gentle and will not strip away hair color. In fact, in a very short time this highly therapeutic shampoo will begin to repair and restore your scalp of the dermatitis symptoms and additionally add moisture to your scalp and hair shafts.

Please keep me posted on your progress Donna and be sure to contact me with any other questions you may have.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis On 4 Month Old Baby

by Alpha

My baby is about 4 months old and she has this seborrheic dermatitis. She had it when she was about 2 months old. A few weeks later they were gone and now it's back... what should I do to at least prevent this from recurring?

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Alpha,

You didn't mention if you used anything to help your baby recover from Seborrheic Dermatitis when she was 2 months old. Hopefully you have not used any type of hydrocortisone or steroid creams as these are harmful and produce dangerous side effects such as: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of!

Here is what I recommend for your little baby girl:

Wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will help bring her skin in balance. Then apply our MY DAUGHTER'S HAND & BODY THERACREAM which is a deep penetrating cream which will penetrate the 7 layers of skin and will relieve the seborrheic dermatitis, promote optimal functioning of the skin processes helping reduce inflammation and restore the skin while stopping any itching and providing an anti bacterial protection as well. At first, you can even add a bit of sterile water to her first few applications to thin the cream somewhat and gradually add less water until you are applying full strength. This cream is very soothing and fast absorbing.

All of our products are filled with just the right health building ingredients which is essential to the repair of the skin. Just as the body responds to wholesome foods, the skin will absolutely respond to healthy ingredients. (Note that for International orders outside of the USA you can place your order at www.aim2health.com).

Please keep me posted on your little baby girl's progress Alpha.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis - Letter to Nanette

by Lyndsey Wilson
(Minot, ND)

My name is Lyndsey Wilson and I have been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis for the past year as I was diagnosed when I was pregnant with my daughter. I have an oily T zone and it was basically flaky skin at first. When I went to the dermatologist she prescribed me with ketaconazole which I thought was over kill because I had such a mild case and boy was I right! It caused sore bleeding areas in my nasal folds so I stopped using it. I started researching more natural remedies. I found relief with milk of magnesia ( I know a laxative right!) applied to my face and used vanicream lite lotion but I found that I was still at a stand still - and still had flaky oily skin. I believe my face wash and moisturizer are the culprit - I believe I'm allergic to propylene glycol. I'm looking for a facial cleanser without any oils (makes my face burn) and no fragrance, propylene glycol, sodium laury sulfate and other irritants you mentioned. I was also just diagnosed with depression and anxiety which stems from my pregnancy and having this condition. Any help with a suggestion for a good cleanser would be so very much appreciated! Thank you, Lyndsy Wilson

Hello Lyndsey,

You are right about Ketoconazole being very potent and it belongs to the class of drugs called azole antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungus. However, there is great risk that accompanies its usage in the form of potential side effects. These include: headache, vision changes, mood changes such as depression, unusual tiredness, weakness, dizziness, persistent nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, weight loss, rash, itching and swelling. This is not even a complete list of possible side effects. You mentioned that you believe your face wash and moisturizer are the contributors to your seborrheic dermatitis symptoms and unfortunately, this is very prevalent with the mainstream commercial products are the market. The ingredients many times include toxic and harmful components that negatively affect the skin. I would highly recommend our All Over Face & Body Wash which is gentle yet thorough followed by an application of our Face & Neck TheraCream twice daily. Our products are fragrance free, SLS free and contain many plant sourced, health building ingredients that soothe and help to restore balance to the skin.

Please keep me posted on your progress Lyndsey.

Nanette

by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me with your concern. It seems as though your son has some type of reaction that has occurred either from an internal or external factor. Never the less, quick action is necessary to relieve his symptoms and discomfort. Here is my recommendation for your son:

1) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected and be sure to do this very gently. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash your son's hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack his dry bump patches down to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again.

Once his scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep his scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted as to your son's progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Dermatitis & Rosacea - Have Searched My Whole Life

by Darien

I am a 48 year old man with both Rosacea and Dermatitis and I have searched my whole life for products to aid these conditions. I have used many different steroids and high priced cosmetics from department stores and though they seemed to help for a while, lately everything was irritating and my skin was worse than ever. Flaking in my brows and beside my nose returned, my forehead was flushed and pustuled (something I'd never had before) and the rest was red and irritated looking.

I found your site and ordered everything, and began using it religiously. The first week I saw results, and by the end of the third week, my skin was clearer than it's been in 20 years!!!

It's given my confidence such a boost, and is almost like a dream come true. I cannot recommend these any stronger. I almost want to approach strangers and let them in on it!!! I am humbled, thankful and amazed. Aim 2 Health SKIN REMEDIES are life savers!!!

I'm also using your products for balding, as a man of a certain age. It's looking good so far. I have spent $1000’s over the years in the search for a natural cure, most things I tried, that I spent 75 to 150 dollars on end up not working and are a waste. I really, really, really believe in you and your products. I for one will recommend you to everyone I know with skin issues. I tend to get very excited about things that work, and your products are miraculous!!! Thank you so much for helping me!!!

Red Spots Over My Body...

Hi,

Response To Red Spots Over My Body
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hi Katie,

It does not surprise me that your General Practioner did not know what your red spots were nor does it surprise me that he readily prescribed hydrocortisone cream to you. You see, generally speaking, hydrocortisone cream is most readily prescribed for just about any and every type of skin condition. This is unfortunate to say the least because of the detrimental effects steroids have on our bodies.

Whether to use your prescription cream or not is going to have to be a matter you discuss with your parents, however, you will first want them to read what I am going to share. My strong recommendation is that people should be on their strictest guard about over the counter as well as prescribed use of hydrocortisone. Strong chemicals such as these can penetrate sensitive or thin skin, cause an allergic reaction, and dangerously flood your bloodstream. Hydrocortisone significantly increased the chances of a number of viruses to infect human blood cells and has even been known to cause blood poisoning. Steroid creams have a number of possible side effects such as thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system.

Below are my recommendations of our products and how they will positively impact your condition.

1) Wash with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will begin the repair process.

2) Then apply our HAND & BODY THERACREAM which is a highly therapeutic all over body cream that will quickly relieve and repair the red dots you are experiencing.

Finally, Katie, you will want to keep a journal of the different foods and activities you partake in daily to see if anything in particular might be triggering your symptoms should they return. Make a note and simply apply my recommendations again.

Please keep me posted on your progress Katie!

Warm Regards,
Nanette

My Rosacea Is Stinging and Red and HURTS!

by Nic
(UK)

Hi,

I have been suffering with rosacea and a red face for around 2 years now. It is always a shade of red and always stinging. Very frequently throughout the day it burns right up and goes bright red. When it does this it is very sore, tight and tingly, it feels as though I have a blow torch on it. I look as though I am permanently sunburned. I cannot find any pattern for when the redness gets worse during the day.

I also have a very greasy forehead, nose and chin and very dry patches around my mouth and jaw line. I have over the past 7 months tried both Clinique and Avene redness solutions. Neither have helped to improve my dry patches nor the redness and both make my greasy areas greasier.

As I walk to work each day, and frequently enjoy sports such as surfing and snowboarding, I need some sun protection and I don’t want to buy an off the shelf sunscreen as I want to stick with organic. Do you have recommendation on a good organic high factor sunscreen for my condition?

It may be that the amount of time I have spent in the water has helped to worsen my condition as it is very hard to find a suitable sunscreen that is waterproof. I am always burned when I get out the sea, even in the winter with windburn. Maybe snowboarding does not help either as I always get burned on the mountains!
Sorry to send such a lengthy email, but, I am desperate to find some useful advise as apart from having a sore face every day, I am finding it very embarrassing, I am always trying to hide my face away. I seem to spend so much time looking at different products but am never sure which ones to actually try.....I am 36 and female.

I hope you can help! Nic

Hello Nic,

Rosacea can affect our daily lives not only with the painful symptoms it manifests but in our daily appearance as well. From what you have told me, you are finding that most commercial products just cannot help a skin condition such as rosacea as they contain harsh ingredients that are irritating to the sensitive facial skin. Further, being outside for lengthy periods in the strong sun, surf and wind can really have a detrimental impact on your rosacea.

Here is what I highly recommend: First, cleanse old, dry and damaged cells and environmental debris with our FACE & BODY WASH. This is an important step towards soothing your skin 7 layers deep. Next, to replenish and restore the skin use our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily. This cream is formulated with health building nutrients and humectants that will relieve inflammation and burning as well as the redness and repair skin cells filling the 7 layers of skin with the moisture it needs to remain healthy and strengthened and to restore balance once again.

Using the FACE & NECK THERACREAM along with the FACE & NECK MOISTURIZING WASH will help not only your rosacea but will help to balance the various oily to dry areas of your face by helping to bring balance back to the skin. Because you have several types of skin issues on your face, you will want to take note as you begin using our products as to which areas of your face may need cream applied only once per day and which areas twice and perhaps more per day based on your level of activity and exposure to sun/wind etc.

To answer your question about a "natural" sun block, we have found that zinc oxide has been used as a natural blocking agent as it is the only ingredient to effectively provide comprehensive protection against UVB and both short and long UVA radiation. Zinc oxide is the closest thing to a total sun block on the market today. It uniformly covers from 290 to 380 nm, thus protecting against UVB and most of the UVA spectrum. No other sunscreen ingredient provides broader protection. And unlike many chemical sunscreen agents, zinc oxide has been proven non irritating and studies show that it is safe for compromised or environmentally challenged skin. In fact, zinc oxide has over a 300-year history of safety, with no known adverse reactions.

Please keep me posted on your progress Nic.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis on Face and Scalp

by Norman
(California)

I am suffering with mild Seborrheic Dermatitis on my face and scalp. I've been using cortisone for almost a year now and it is just keeping my Seborrheic Dermatitis under control (my SD still flaring up sometimes). I also notice that my SD is having a resistance to the cortisone that I use. So my question: Is there a possibility that after using your product for a long time my Seborrheic Dermatitis can build a resistance or immunity to it and would I have to find a new product to control it again? This disease is really depressing sometimes. :(

Hello,

It truly can be devastating to have suffered for so long and to still not have resolve! Unfortunately, the medications you were prescribed carried with them a high risk. For our website viewers I will say the following about the medications you have been on for their knowledge. Accutane is a strong drug used to treat acne but comes with a host of possible side effects. These can include: nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, severe stomach pain, diarrhea, rectal bleeding, trouble swallowing, bone or muscle pain, persistent fever, chills, or sore throat, yellowing of skin or eyes and dark urine, allergic reactions, changes in hearing and vision trouble. Cutivate is in the class of topical corticosteroids which constitutes a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and antipruritic. Side effects can include: blurred vision, or seeing halos around lights, headache, back ache, and weakness. Although Ketoconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus, it too has side effects. This medication may cause abnormal hair texture, discoloration, irritation, or pimple-like bumps on the scalp. There may also be oiliness or dryness of the hair and scalp. Our products which you will soon be using, contain a large array of health building ingredients formulated to help restore balance to the skin and scalp. Used consistently, they have helped large numbers of folks get the relief they had been seeking. Remember, the body has a great propensity to repair given the proper ingredients.

Please keep me posted on your progress.

Seborrheic dermatits on face and scalp + occasional breakouts
by: Anonymous

Hello Nanette,
I have been struggling with my skin for years. When I was younger it was acne (15-19). Now that I am a bit older (23) I have had these red and pink, itchy, dry patches on both sides of my face by my side burns and eyebrows. Also my eyebrows are very itchy at times and my scalp as well. I feel like I can itch them forever. Then I will get these random bumps on my forehead here and there that are very itchy, they are usually close to my hairline but sometimes are in the middle of my forehead in general, (very frustrating.) Also my skin just can't seem to stay hydrated. It always feels dry but then I touch my forehead and nose and it is oily. I have been to the dermatologist many times and they said I have seborrheic dermatitis. I am very upset because they say it is not curable and since I've had it mostly nothing has helped. It has definitely been over two years or so. Over these two years my skin has been good at times but overall especially lately it has been HORRIBLE. I also am breaking out some time not always that bad but it just doesn't look clear. And the reddish patches don't help as well. I took Accutane years ago, probably 3 years ago. It cleared my skin up, but eventually I developed this problem of itchy scalp, patches on the face, and itchy eyebrows, breakouts and ever since the Accutane my lips have been a problem. My lips are SO dry and chapped and haven't been able to fully heal for years. I have a spot on my top lip, the middle of the lip that almost looks flat sometimes because it can't heal and the skin just never heals over it just dies as dead skin. I really really hope your products will help me, if not I don't know what else to do because I have tried countless prescription creams for the spots (protopic, moisturizers, now I use Cutivate which still isn't getting rid the spots by any means) and shampoo (ketaconazole 2%) for my hair but nothing seems to work. I just purchased your cleanser, moisturizer, lip balm and shampoo. Please work :).

Hello Norman,

You mentioned you had a mild case of Seborrheic Dermatitis, but without being able to physically see your scalp condition, it is difficult to determine the severity of your condition. Partnering our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT is one of the most powerful remedies we offer. I personally feel that adding the DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM to "any" scalp condition provides the extra help and protection that this strong formulation offers. Hope this helps Norman!

Hello Norman,

I certainly can understand how an ongoing skin condition such as Seborrheic Dermatitis can become depressing to the sufferer. But please take heart! To begin with, you mentioned that you've been using cortisone for almost a year now and that you noticed your Seborrheic Dermatitis is building a resistance to it. You should know that these toxic steroid creams produce dangerous side effects such as thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of! You see, drugs force the body to respond a certain way which is not working "with" the body as natural remedies can and do. You should also know that with these natural remedies, the health building ingredients continue to benefit the skin and does not build a resistance.

I have two very natural and deep penetrating products that I highly recommend to you for your face. You can use them daily. First, what you wash with is so very important and I can't emphasize this enough. Many products on the market today are loaded with harsh, drying ingredients that strip the natural PH of your skin leaving it further vulnerable to the effects of sun, wind and environmental air. Use our gentle and pure FACE & BODY WASH that will deeply cleanse and moisturize your skin even before you apply cream. This is an important feature since your cleanser should leave you with a plus moisture level and not a minus moisture level!

Next you will want to apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily. This hypo-allergenic cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface helping to restore balance. Both of these products are formulated with skin nurturing ingredients that repair, restore and replenish natural moisture levels in the skin.

For your scalp, I recommend only washing with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT as this will relieve the Seborrheic Dermatitis of the scalp, stop itching, restore the natural PH of the scalp and provide anti bacterial protection.

Please keep me posted on your progress Norman.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Rosacea, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Red - Scaly - Itchy

(United States)

Hello,

I'm 64. Have had red, scaly, itchy eyebrows for 15+ years. First diagnosed with rosacea, then contact dermatitis, then seborrheic dermatitis. More noticeable now since I am losing hair. A zillion ointments & creams later, I still have the problem. My skin is ultra sensitive. What protocol do you recommend? Is your product safe for ultra sensitive skin? Creams were getting into my system & were contributing to digestive issues. I am now ready for natural approach.

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

Let me first start out by saying that I am very glad you have decided to turn to natural remedies as these are what the body responds the best to!

For your facial skin condition this is what I highly recommend: First, the discontinuing of anything harmful, such as steroid creams and such is very important for the healing process to begin, which you have already done. The 2 products I absolutely recommend are: FACE & BODY MOISTURIZING WASH and FACE & NECK THERACREAM, to be used morning and night. You may also apply the face cream anytime during the day as needed for the first few weeks. These products will stop any itching and relieve inflammation while they begin healing and repairing the skin 7 layers deep and over time will bring back the balance and restoration that your skin has been without for so long. Our products do an amazing job on all types of skin problems so this will be addressed as well.

Please keep me posted on your progress.

Nanette

Hello,

Red, itchy hands can be truly devastating since we use our hands for so many activities within any given day. Unfortunately, when hands are so dry that they become red and even cracked, trying to wash our hands or perform any function that requires water can be very painful indeed. The first step is to be very careful what types of soaps your sister is using. Most cleansers and bars contain many harsh ingredients that damage the skin as well as have a PH that is way too high and thus will destroy the natural balance of the skin. Our Face & Body Wash helps to begin moisturizing the skin as well as provide just the right PH for the skin. Next, it is recommended that your sister apply our quick absorbing, My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream which is thick and rich and contains many health building ingredients to thoroughly moisturize the skin and help to bring balance once again. Many of our customers in the health care profession that need to constantly wash their hands, find these two products a "life saver".

Please keep me posted on your sister's progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Rash Around My Mouth....Allergies & Contact Dermatitis

by Susie B.

It is with great excitement that I send you this email thanking you for the wonderful products on your website! Within THREE days the rash that I had been battling for over a month, is now nearly completely vanished!

About six weeks ago I noticed that a rash was developing around my mouth, due to allergies and contact dermatitis. Since I am on a mission of primarily using only healthy and organic products, I ruled out hydrocortosone and steroids (which was recommended to me).

In my quest to prove others wrong, I thankfully stumbled onto your website and found your TheraCream product for face and neck. I couldn't wait to receive it! Upon the first usage that evening I immediately felt this wonderful soothing sensation. The next morning, I had ALREADY seen a difference to the rash. For the next three days I diligently applied the cream both in the morning and in the evening and I am proud to say that after only three days, my rash is nearly gone!

What a wonderful and amazing product. And what a blessing to have gotten it on your website. Thank you very much and I am wholeheartedly recommending your products to other friends whom I know. (p.s. I would have taken pictures for the before and after; however, my cell phone photo would not do it any justice.)

Seborrheic Dermatitis 4 Year Old

Hi Nanette,

My 4.5 year old has had Seborrheic Dermatitis on and off since she was an infant. It has never been itchy or painful for her. It reappeared a couple months ago after being gone for over a year. We moved to a dry and cold climate a couple months before this last outbreak started. We have used indoor central heating in our new home 95% more than in our previous warm climate home. I am so desperate at this point that I temporarily left the cold home for the warm home in case this was a major contributing factor. First question: Is it worth staying in the warm climate until I get her s.d. under control?

I should give you more background first. As a toddler I tried taking the scales off her scalp after applying warm olive oil. Lots of hair came out so I didn't try it this time. Instead I started with Selsun Blue (despite my great dislike for such products) but no luck. Then her doctor who is not fast to prescribe meds prescribed a combination of oral nystatin with cortisone cream (1%). We just ended the one week treatment with a fair amount of the fungus gone. Lots more hair fell out and scales that are half off will take more hair with it soon. The majority of the problem is on the top of her scalp. I am concerned because of all the hair loss - it is much thinner and so many patches. Second question: Will the hair likely grow back?

More questions: Will your products help in a situation like my daughter's? Can it stop more immediate hair loss? I have read various parent discussions online and several said to leave the s.d. alone and that it will likely go away at the age of 6 or 7. Good idea? Should I stop trying to get the scales off now and just use your products to prevent future problems? She has what appears to be rice like dandruff on a few other parts of her scalp. Will your products help with this also? Is it possible to find similar products in a health food store (there are many in California)?

So many questions I know. And strange to be so eager to hear from someone I have not met!

Any help you can offer would be wonderful.

Thanks,

the Mom

treatment question
by: Anonymous

Hi Nanette,

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I am optimistic that this will help my daughter! I have a question about the application of the skin-remedies cream and shampoo. Here is what I was thinking: apply the cream in the morning to keep her scalp moisturized (especially with the cold and dry climate) and shampoo her hair in the evening until her condition improves. Once her condition improves I will shampoo every other day and not apply cream. Okay?

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,
As a mother, I understand your frustration. I will first explain that all steroid creams produce varying degrees of dangerous side effects. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of! (Note that steroid absorption in children may cause a delay in growth with long-term use!) Further, Nystatin is an antibiotic which can produce the following symptoms: difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, hives, nausea or stomach upset, vomiting, or diarrhea. Also, Selsun Blue contains Selenium Sulfide, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Citric Acid, Cocamide DEA, Ditallow Phthalic Acid Amide, Dimethicone, DMDM Hydantoin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Purified Water, Sodium Citrate, and Fragrance.
It has been documented that selenium sulfide causes hair loss. Here are the details: From the Physicians Desk Reference: In decreasing order of severity: skin irritation; occasional reports of increase in normal hair loss; discoloration of hair (can be avoided or minimized by thorough rinsing of hair after treatment). As with other shampoos, oiliness or dryness of hair and scalp may occur. From PersonalMD.com: This medication may cause skin irritation, dry skin, or hair loss.

Regarding your daughter's present status of Seborrheic Dermatitis I will say that
the exact causes are unknown, however, one main theory is that it is associated with yeast (malassezia genus) organisms that are common residents of human skin. Since they need lipids to survive, they tend to colonize areas of the skin that are relatively rich with sebum triggering an immuno-allergic type response. Further, the yeast metabolize sebum and generate byproducts that are irritating to the skin. Other factors include: genetics, environment, soaps, detergents and irritants that degrade the skin's barrier function, stress/diet, and change of seasons.

I strongly recommend providing a natural alternative treatment for your daughter rather than ?waiting it out? as this condition can potentially get increasingly difficult to overcome. Follow these steps: Rub in our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected which penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster. It has anti fungal properties which is important for this type of scalp condition. Allow the cream to absorb into the 7 layers of scalp tissue. Next, wash her hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT. These 2 products will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and assist her scalp in regaining a healthy balance once again as well as restore its proper PH. Once her scalp condition is repaired you need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT. Please keep me posted on your daughter?s progress. Warm Regards, Nanette

Response to Damage Caused By Hydrocortisone Cream
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Sekou,

It appears that these two drugs only exacerbated your condition and added levels of toxicity to your bloodstream. The side effects you spoke of are very typical of hydrocortisone cream as it does damage skin tissue and in your case, quite extensively.

You must know that the body has a built in capacity to rebuild and repair given the proper ingredients. Follow my recommendations Sekou and you will be on the road to restoring your facial skin to a healthy state and balance.

The two product I want you to use are our FACE & BODY WASH and our FACE & NECK THERACREAM. These are 2 excellent choices for the type of problem facial skin you are experiencing. They will thoroughly cleanse old, dry damaged cells, bacteria and environmental debris and old oil and then moisturize your skin 7 layers deep with the strong humectants contained in these products. As your skin is restored to a healthy balance you will notice that the skin tones will be restored as well as the proper consistency and thickness of the skin itself as you recover from the damage caused by the hydrocortisone cream.

You may also want to strongly consider some internal body care to rid your body of the toxicity of the drugs taken and applied. Internally you should start with our INTERNAL BOWEL CLEANSER as this will begin to clean your bodily systems from the inside out. Toxins accumulate in the bowels and begin to permeate the blood stream and cause many of the symptoms and maladies that exist today including the many skin problems. Next I recommend taking in high green nutrition such as what is found in our GREEN POWERHOUSE. It is the most potent and highly nutritive product on the planet. This will further help in the cleansing and restoration of the body and skin.

Expect great results Sekou and I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hydrocortisone Side Effects
by: sekou

My skin started peeling around the side of my nose and when I visited my doctor he gave me Fluconazle 200mg. Then I went to a Dermatologist who diagnosed me with having dermatitis and then he prescribed hydocortisone to me. These two medications did not do anything for me but instead they worsen my condition! The side effects caused burning, thinning facial skin, and skin discoloration. Please, I need help to get out of this situation.

Response to Pruritus Dermatitis
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Mr. Carballo,

First let me explain for our website viewers that pruritus dermatitis refers to an unpleasant sensation that causes the need to scratch. Itching may be localized to a certain area of the body, or can be all over, or generalized and is commonly accompanied by a rash.

You should know that continued use of topical steroid creams containing hydrocortisone can cause the skin to develop a resistance (called tachyplaxis) to the medication. As a result, in order to have the desired medical effect, a stronger and more potent steroid may be needed, which may cause even more potential side effects. These side effects may include: thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system.

Here is my recommendation for your pruritus dermatitis that will help to restore your skin and bring about a healthy and balanced state:

1) Wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. I recommend our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity as well as moisturizing ability to help bring your skin in balance.

2) Then apply our HAND & BODY THERACREAM for whole body use. This highly enriched cream is deep penetrating and able to penetrate the 7 layers of skin stopping the itching on contact and promote optimal functioning of the skin processes and reduce inflammation.

In addition to the high levels of natural, health building ingredients in these products, they further contain a very important ingredient called urea. Urea causes dry skin cells to "unpack" and expose their water binding sites, thereby enabling the cell to absorb and retain additional moisture while at the same time preventing water loss in the skin layers. If the skin is very dry and scaly, a large amount of the cream is taken up by the horny layer in order to restore needed moisture and bring back the skin's balance in disposing of dead cells and replacing them with new and healthy vibrant skin.

Please keep me posted on your progress Mr. Carballo and be sure to contact me with any further questions you may have.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Face With Red Blotches

by Ann

Hi there. I am 46 years old and generally have had very good skin. I had seborrheic dermatitis in my scalp for years which has moved down to my face. For the last two months I have had a severe outbreak of seborrheic dermatitis. The first dermatologist I went to gave me desonide which makes it go away but I can't take it long term. I went to another dermatologist today and she suggested promiseb and episerum under my eyes that are swollen. I also just read on line about vitamins to take like vitamin B, primrose oil, flaxseed oil and folic acid.

Whenever I take off my make up it burns and stings. The same thing happens when I put on a moisturizing cream. Which of your products would you recommend for me? Any other advice I would greatly appreciate.

I have red blotches all over my face....

Response To: Similar SD situation + Oily Skin
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

Just as all medicines can have side effects, Hydrozole cream has the potential for the following unwanted side effects: drying, cracking, blistering, peeling, thinning, tightening or redness of the skin, bruising of the skin, acne-type lumps on the skin, itching or irritation of skin & loss of skin color, and the skin condition getting worse. As recommended in my previous response to Ann, first wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will help bring your skin in balance. Then apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM which is a deep penetrating cream which will penetrate the 7 layers of skin and promote optimal functioning of the skin processes helping reduce inflammation and restore your skin while stopping any itching and providing an anti bacterial protection as well.

Please keep me posted on your results!

Similar SD situation + Oily Skin
by: Anonymous

Hi,

I have similar problems too. I've been using Hydrozole Cream once every night as suggested by my dermatologist and using head and shoulder shampoo. It does not get rid of entire problem. I have SD below my area area on the cheek and it is always reddish-pink color. The cream seems to work when it get worse otherwise it just stays in the state of that reddish-pink colour (inflammed) and when I stop using the Hydrozole cream for a while it get worse!!

Also, my skin is very oily. Can you suggest something for me? I am really interest in this skin-remedies for my SD which I have been suffering since my late teens and I just don't know what to do anymore and it's preventing me from doing a lot of things like outdoor activities or just going out in general. The Dermatologists I went to suggest the same thing but to this date, I feel it hasn't improved. I know a long period on steroid cream is not good even though I'm only using the lowest possible steroid cream to control it.

Response To Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Face With Red Blotches
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Ann,

Unfortunately, Seborrheic Dermatitis can show up at any time in our lives but how we handle this condition is what is most important. First, let me address the various prescriptions you spoke about as this will also help our website viewers. Desonide is a topical steroid that can produce harmful side effects therefore, I would never recommend its usage. These side effects include: thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Concerning EpiCeram and Promiseb, I feel that both these creams contain too many chemicals and preservatives, (ie., modified solid corn syrup, gums and acids etc.), to put on anyone's skin much less the delicate facial tissue.

As you have mentioned that you are interested in what can further be done for greater health through vitamins and such, I will give you my external as well as internal recommendations that will restore your facial and neck skin as well as provide great healthful benefits to your entire bodily systems.:

1) Wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin.

2) Take our GREEN POWERHOUSE several time per day, to provide your body with the widest array of vitamins, minerals and enzymes needed by the body to repair and replenish. This formula also contains the highest amount of chlorophyll which further cleanses every cell as well as promotes healthy cell growth, functionality and development.

This is my complete recommendation at this point but please start on the products you feel most comfortable with and you can certainly proceed from there Ann.
Please keep me posted on your progress!

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Cure for Seborrheic Dermatitis!

Hi Nanette,
It's been 2 weeks now since I started using your products per your instructions. I am telling you, your products are the cure for my Seborrheic Dermatitis. I haven't felt like this for a long time, my SD is almost gone, my face is clear and smooth, no stinging pain, still some redness but very light but I think it's going away soon. My dermatologist was so impressed, he asked me what I did, all I told him was I stopped putting chemical stuff on my face, and started paying attention to the inactive ingredients of the products that I use.

My question for you is: I ordered some more stuff including the Double Strength Cream. Can I use this on my face since I figure it would save me time and money instead of putting on Face & Neck cream?

Anyway, I hope that your products will always be available because I hate to go back to the way I was before. Please keep me informed if there are any special deals on these products so I can save more when I buy them.

Again, thank you very much for all your help, I have referred your websites to a few of my co-workers who also have skin problems, hopefully you can help them too.

Neal

Response To Cure For Seborrheic Dermatitis!
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Neal,

Thank you for writing me and letting me know of your great progress. Yes, our products do work VERY FAST and are extremely effective and have helped 1000's across the globe. It is wonderful to hear of your ongoing success!

To answer your questions: A lot of our customers continue to take the INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER on a regular basis only on a "maintenance level" which is once per day instead of twice daily. It provides the daily need for fiber as well as cleanses the body of waste and toxins that either cause or exacerbate skin conditions.

The GREEN POWERHOUSE is one of those products that have such an incredibly vast amount of nutrients needed by the body that its health benefits are innumerable. I would highly recommend continuing with taking this daily and the great thing is that many of our customers like to customize just how often and how many capsules per day they take. You can adjust the amount on a need basis too.

As far as putting our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM on your face, it is such a thick and heavy cream that I would not readily recommend putting it on the delicate and thinner skin of the face. The only time I would say "yes" is on a "spot application" basis and very lightly at that. You can even try to add a small amount of sterile water to an application to thin the cream out before applying it to the more sensitive facial skin.

And rest assured Neal.....we will be around for a long, long time and as long as you continue to remain subscribed to our newsletters and product specials you will enjoy the many savings we offer to our customers.

Keep sharing your positive results Neal so that others can get the skin help they so badly need.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hello,

Actually, we have only one strength of face cream and that is our Face & Neck TheraCream. This product is specially formulated for the sensitive and delicate skin on the face. The facial skin is the thinnest skin on the body and needs special attention especially when dealing with conditions of dermatitis. I would also recommend that you first cleanse with our gentle and moisturizing Face & Body Wash before applying the cream. Remember, that the body truly responds to health building ingredients.

Please keep me posted on your progress.

Help With Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Face

by Mr. Clark

Currently I'm seeing some SD (Seborrheic Dermatitis) on my face, around my nose area, between my eye brows, and sometimes on my chin.

Is there anything I should avoid putting on my face, or something you would highly recommend? I have also noticed that when my skin is tanned the dermatitis goes away. Is there any correlation between tanning and dermatitis?

Thank you for your help, God bless.

Response To: Help With Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Face
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Mr. Clark,

Any products that contain mineral oil or other petroleum based ingredients should be greatly avoided as they can actually increase the skin's dryness levels. These ingredients have NO usefulness to the skin nutritionally and in fact, the molecules are too large to even pass the pores of the skin so the cream just sits on top and literally suffocates these pores thereby causing further dryness and damage.

I have two very natural and deep penetrating products that I highly recommend to you. Use them daily.

This hypo-allergenic cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface. The dry, flaky, rash like symptoms will dissipate as balance begins to be restored. Both of these products are formulated with skin nurturing ingredients that repair, restore and replenish natural moisture levels in the skin.

And lastly, keep "sunning" time to a minimum! Although UV rays from sunlight trigger vitamin D synthesis in the skin and can be helpful with a variety of skin conditions, moderation is important as "tanning" is actually the skin's response to damage caused by too much exposure to the sun.

Please keep me posted on your progress Mr. Clark as you begin your new regimen.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Jo,

You are definitely seeing the effects of the risk of using cortisone cream. And that is that it potentially thins the skin and can cause it to become crinkled in texture and often will result in worse symptoms (in your case, dermatitis) than before using the steroid. I would highly recommend first cleansing with our very gentle Face & Body Wash followed by an application of our Face & Neck TheraCream twice daily. This will help soothe and highly moisturize the delicate under eye skin and begin to bring balance back to that area. Remember, the skin has a great propensity to repair given the proper health building ingredients.

Please keep me posted on your progress Jo.

Nanette

Contact Dermititus

by Elizabeth
(Bridgetown)

Hi, my doctor said I had come into contact with a toxic substance which brought about (first) pimples, then redness (wherever I touched on my skin) then itchiness, it was first on my chin, my nose my ears, my inner cuffs, my lower stomach, then my pubic area. I was prescribed steroid creams (cultivate,etc/antibiotics and anti-histamines) I saw a marked improvement within days. However (since My Dr. told me to return in (3) months, I thought I could just stock up on these steroid creams, whichever was available (to save me visits to the Dr.) and since I was responding well, I did not see the need to see her again. Having nothing to do, I decided to apply these creams (since if the symptoms were no longer there, maybe putting more can stop the return. (BIG MISTAkE!!!) I USED THE CREAMS THINKING IT WILL STOP ANYTHING FROM APPEARING ON MY SKIN!!! (BIGGER MISTAKE)!!!
I soon found out that my skin was being attacked, I could not take a shower, water affected my skin!!! Creams, cocoa butter, mild skin applicae. I was in a living hell situation after two years of continuous use of these creams (I tried valiums to calm me down from the intense burning, and pains), I saw another doctor who prescribed a purple liquid "potassium...something"but I still had to apply some form of steroid creams...... my skin exploded and broke and bled. It was weeping this liquid. So I stopped and tried a lighter (0.5% hydrocorti.cream) it worked and then continued profuse itching, burning etc. I have stopped using anything (including water and covering the area (it helped my mind, I think) now it has eased up somewhat, and I do see my skin repairing itself. I am still afraid to touch(too tender). I have felt a calmer feeling of the skin, but I do wonder If I may be better using anything else to speed up this process since it is tiring and exhausting. If you think otherwise (since my skin is telling me something.)this would ease my mind ...a bit. I do believe the toxic substance I touched was a plant called 'poisen sumac'. I has actually cut this plant and felt and smelled this gueey substance oozing from it but never thought it was harmful. NOW I KNOW.
(1) how do I get rid of the overuse of steroid creams from my body (as I heard it can affect your kidneys) and ...we do not want that and :-
(2) as you mentioned, if I let it along, it may go away completely so I can have the beautiful skin I have always had.
Thank you for the opportunity to explain my 'horror'.

Hello Elizabeth,

Unfortunately you are experiencing the many side effects of using steroid creams over short and long term use. You were wise to stop overloading your skin with this toxic cream and I will recommend the following to help your skin resume a more healthy state. First, I recommend cleansing with our gentle yet thorough All Over Face & Body Wash. Follow this with our Face & Neck TheraCream for the facial area and our My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream for body use twice per day. I would also suggest starting on our Green PowerHouse which is loaded with high nutrition which is necessary for feeding the body the nutrients it needs to help repair the skin and body. Remember that the body truly responds to health building ingredients. Consistency and patience will bring about great results.

Please keep me posted on your progress Elizabeth.

Euphorbia

by Carmel
(Dublin, Ireland)

Hi Nanette
I am 81 years old. I was gardening with gloves. I cut down a delicate euphorbia plant. I scratched my nose with gloves on and got sap on my lips. I went to my Doctor he gave me steroid tablets for two days and Zirtex anti-histamine tablets. After a few days I felt grand. It flared up again I went and saw Locum he gave me more Zirtex. It has flared up again, my lips are burning and so is the inside of my mouth. I have a few little spots on them and on the inside of my mouth. I also have a touch of it on the tip of my tongue. I went back to doctor he gave me one percent hydrocortisone cream to use for four days. He told me I probably won't get rid of it . I asked him about using Calamine Lotion BP., he said my skin was very sensitive. He didn't recommend using Calamine. I don't know what to do, I would like your advice. Regards Carmel

Response to: Euphorbia
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Carmel,

I am very sorry to hear of your demise but unfortunately these things can happen even with the greatest of care. For our website viewers I will mention that all succulent Euphorbiaceae contain a poisonous sap which exudes from the cut plant (even the slightest cut) and sometimes from even just touching the plant. Typically this sap is milky white and sets into a latex and while some species carry a mild poison others carry a sap that is extremely dangerous. My recommendation is to first gently cleanse with our All Over Face & Body Wash. I recommend this first step because what your skin needs right now is to be restored and one of the ways you can help that is by using a wash like ours that is the correct pH for the skin. This one thing is very important. The next step would be to gently apply our Face & Neck TheraCream as it too is the proper pH and also contains strong humectants to bring much needed moisture down to the 7 layers of skin. Our cream also contains a myriad of health building, skin restoring nutrients that will assist the skin by soothing it while it restores.

Please keep me posted on your progress Carmel and know that I am rooting for you.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
