Face Rash & Irritants

by Lisa
(United States )

About 3 years ago my face started burning after a chemical peel and erbium laser. I went to a dermatologist and they told me I was fine and keep using Retin A and other products. Well I stopped but face burned badly and about 2 years later, rashes started appearing. I have been diagnosed through patch testing with many chemical and organic allergies. I keep having face rashes and I have been diagnosed with seborhehic dermatitis, but I believe it is irritant contact allergies. I can't use anything on my face for 3 years even natural things like aloe vera, olive oil, coconut oil and apple cider vinegar, and the worse allergy was to my pure organic shampoo. Coconut derivative is in all shampoos even organic. All my dermatologist is preaching is steroids. I wont use it, but don't know what to use with postage patch test to 19 chemicals, metals, and organic things. My face has extreme itching as well as my eyes and then it will burn and be raw and very painful to even air born irritants. I don't know what to use. I also have multiple chemical sensitivities. I have allergies to chemicals and organic. Thanks, Lisa

Hello Lisa,

I can tell you from my knowledge base and also from what many of my customers have shared with me and that is that chemical peels can be unpredictable and produce harsh side effects. Further, for our website viewers I will say that erbium laser resurfacing, while designed to remove surface-level and moderately deep lines and wrinkles on the face, hands, neck, or chest, can also produce side effects such as swelling, bruising, and ongoing redness and soreness to the skin tissue. A large part of long term recovery and health is, in my strong opinion, adding on and sticking to a natural product line where you can establish a healthy routine. Healthy skin is attained with consistency and patience as good, clear, strong skin is in the making. Of course, you should definitely be mindful of any ingredients you can be allergic to and I certainly would not recommend anything "undiluted" on sensitive skin such as apple cider vinegar etc as this would be too harsh for damaged skin. Our customers who have undergone similar procedures with similar results have found great relief and resolve with using our products such as our All Over Face & Body Wash followed by an application of our Face & Neck TheraCream twice daily. Of course, please be sure to read and reread all of our ingredients to make sure there are not any of the ingredients you are allergic to. I would also recommend our Green PowerHouse which is loaded with health building ingredients that are sure to benefit the internal bodily systems.

Please keep me posted on your progress Lisa.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
