Itchy, redish and Swollen fingers

by Manuel
(United kingdom)

I over the past 3 months my fingers have been reacting to Nivea cream. I stopped using the cream and took some piriton (anthisimate) to treat it. This worked for a while but unfortunately my hand is back again to a reddish, itchy and swollen form. The doctor did prescribed Fucibet cream which I have used just twice now and I get very uncomfortable with severe itches. I'm going to stop that as I don't feel comfortable using it. Any recommendations or suggestions on what I can use?

Hello Manuel,

It is not uncommon for a product such as Nivea that you were using to start producing negative reactions. Unless the ingredients are health building, the skin eventually reaches what is known as a "threshold" and begins to react to the product.

I would first highly recommend cleansing with our All Over Face & Body Wash as it is very important to wash with a gentle yet thorough cleanser that will help to restore the pH of the skin. Next I would recommend our tube of My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream to be used after you cleanse your hands and as needed. These 2 products work extremely well together to bring about restorative results.

Please keep me posted on your progress Manuel.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
