Hello Patricia,

It seems apparent that your scalp has had a negative reaction for the hair coloring session you had 3 months ago and it is no wonder as hair coloring can be extremely toxic to the scalp and body in general. My strong recommendation is to first discontinue using mainstream hair coloring and opt for those hair coloring systems that have more natural foundations. A thorough internet search will provide you with some possibilities as more and more women (and men) are choosing natural over toxic chemicals. Next, I would recommend first applying a light coat of our Double Strength TheraCream anywhere you feel the burning and itching on your scalp. Follow this the next morning with a thorough washing with our Herbal Shampoo Treatment. These two products are very soothing, will alleviate the itching and provide balance to the scalp.

Please keep me posted on your progress Patricia.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Rash Around My Mouth

by Susie B.
(USA)

It is with great excitement that I send you this email thanking you for the wonderful products on your website! Within THREE days the rash that I had been battling for over a month, is now nearly completely vanished!

About six weeks ago I noticed that a rash was developing around my mouth, due to allergies and contact dermatitis. Since I am on a mission of primarily using only healthy and organic products, I ruled out hydrocortosone and steroids (which was recommended to me).

In my quest to prove others wrong, I thankfully stumbled onto your website and found your TheraCream product for face and neck. I couldn't wait to receive it! Upon the first usage that evening I immediately felt this wonderful soothing sensation. The next morning, I had ALREADY seen a difference to the rash. For the next three days I diligently applied the cream both in the morning and in the evening and I am proud to say that after only three days, my rash is nearly gone!

What a wonderful and amazing product. And what a blessing to have gotten it on your website. Thank you very much and I am wholeheartedly recommending your products to other friends whom I know. (p.s. I would have taken pictures for the before and after; however, my cell phone photo would not do it any justice.) Susie B.

Dry Skin & Tiny Bumps Around My Mouth

by Kim D.

Hi! Recently I had been having problems with extremely dry skin on my face. It started around my lips. I developed very, very tiny almost invisible bumps around the outer edges of my lips that were very itchy and dry! I used Aquaphor (dermatologist recommended) to treat it...but it didn't get better. After a few weeks I started developing dry patches around my eyes and the area of skin there started to darken. I used Aquaphor again to fix the dryness but instead of helping...I developed tiny red bumps over the areas I applied it, plus my face became swollen. I still had extremely dry dark patches all over my face and my skin became very discolored. No matter how much moisturizer I put on...within minutes my skin felt dry and scaly again! I needed help! I was afraid of going to another dermatologist who was going to just prescribe me a steroid that would worsen my condition. I was so uncomfortable and willing to try anything. I found your products and started using the Face & Neck cream morning and night. Within a few days I began feeling moisturized and the dry dark patches began to fade. Now after 3 weeks my skin is symptom free and I will always use your cream to keep my face looking good!

Eczema On Lips And Mouth

by Patti C.
(Brooklyn, NY)

I have had a condition of eczema on my lips and around my mouth for about a month now. The traditional doctors have given me hydrocortisone cream but I don't want to use it. I tried it a few times and it didn't make a difference.
I have tried everything natural, vitamin E oil, natural lip balms, cod liver oil, etc. Is there anything you can recommend? I don't know what is triggering it. I have many food allergies and eat a very clean diet. In the past when I had ecezema on my legs it was due to eating a particular food and I stopped and it went away. But with this I have no idea. And it's so visible and awkward on the mouth.
I hope to hear from you.

Best,
Patti

by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Patti,

From the symptoms you are describing, it sounds like you may have perioral dermatitis. Some experts believe it is a form of eczema or rosacea or sunlight-worsened seborrheic dermatitis. It can be very difficult to determine what is causing the skin on your lips and around your mouth to react in such a way. Some types of makeup, commercial creams/serums, and dental products may be partially responsible. Further, hydrocortisone creams applied to the face can actually worsen perioral dermatitis as well as produce dangerous side effects. These side effects include: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, perioral dermatitis, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of!

Here is what I recommend you use for this condition: First, what you wash with is so very important and I can't emphasize this enough. Many products on the market today are loaded with harsh, drying ingredients that strip the natural PH of your skin leaving it further vulnerable to the effects of product chemicals, sun, wind and environmental air. Use our gentle and pure FACE & BODY WASH that will deeply cleanse your skin and begin repairing your skin even before you apply cream.

Next you will want to apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM twice daily focusing the area around the mouth and lips. This hypo-allergenic cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and relieves inflammation and pustule build up(if any) and restores much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface helping to restore balance. Both of these products are formulated with skin nurturing ingredients that repair, restore and replenish natural moisture levels in the skin.

You may also want to consider our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER for internal deep toxic and waste cleansing of the body as well as our GREEN POWERHOUSE for the highest level of nutrition available to strengthen your body, skin and immune system.

Please keep me posted on your progress Patti.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Rash - Cracking - Wrinkles - This issue is making me very depressed.

by Peter
(SF Bay Area, California)

Hello,

About 10 months ago I went to a camp out with friends. After that weekend I began to have a couple issues.

1. Cracking / Wrinkles on the corners of my mouth. Sometimes there is red inflammation, some days not.

2. On my chin under my lower lip, above my upper lip and the underneath skin of my nose I will get a red painful rash. At times there are little red bumps.

Both of the above have gotten worse since I have started seeing a dermatologist. It is affecting my work and social life.

My dermatologist has prescribed:

Aquaphor
Duac
Naftin
Desonide

None of which are helping and I think matters are worse... Please help, I am getting desperate.

Hello Peter,

First, the discontinuing of anything harmful, such as steroid creams and such is very important for the healing process to begin. Steroids can produce side effects which include: thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Also, over the counter products such as Aquaphor contain high amount of mineral oil (a by product of gasoline) which clogs the pores and ends up drying the skin even further. The 2 products I absolutely recommend are our: FACE & BODY MOISTURIZING WASH and FACE & NECK THERACREAM, to be used morning and night.

The FACE & BODY MOISTURIZING WASH provides a gentle but thorough cleansing but does not strip the skin of it's natural PH. It will begin the repair process deep down that your skin needs. Next, gently apply a light coat of the FACE & NECK THERACREAM. This rich cream penetrates all 7 layers of skin to unpack dry, damaged cells and restore much needed moisture from the bottom up to the very skin surface. The natural ingredients will quickly repair the breakouts as well as reduce redness and inflammation and stop any itching - restoring the normal function of the skin. Both of these products are formulated with skin nurturing ingredients that repair, restore and replenish natural moisture levels in the skin. Just as the body responds to healthy, natural foods, the skin will also respond to health building, natural ingredients.

Please keep me posted to your progress Peter as you begin this recommended regimen.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Small Bumps On My Chin

by Connie

I have a patch of small bumps on my chin that erupt (very red) and then dry up and flake off within a day or two. This started about a month ago and this has happened about 5 times. Any idea what this is? They do not itch or burn...they are raised, but flat and never turn into pimples...Thank you.

Response To Small Bumps On My Chin
by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Connie,

Your symptoms sound like they could be an allergic reaction. Have you tried a new food or beverage recently or perhaps a new face cream or perfume? It might be that your body is trying to throw off some toxins as well. It is hard to pinpoint without a more thorough study.

My recommendation to you is to wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will help bring your skin in balance. Then apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM which is a deep penetrating cream which will penetrate the 7 layers of skin and promote optimal functioning of the skin processes helping to repair and restore from the bottom up. This cream also provides a protective barrier as it is anti-fungal and anti-microbial.

Please keep me posted on your progress Connie.

Warm Regards,
Nanette
