Had Been Suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Face For 2 Years!

by Adam Caulfield
(Rochester, NY)

I had been suffering from Seborrheic dermatitis on my face (cheeks, chin, forehead, eyelids, nose, and sides of my face) for two years. My face was always swollen, red, flakey, and had a stinging feeling. Prescription creams did not help at ALL. I was using apricot scrub to get off the dead skin then washed my face with a coal tar shampoo, then applied rubbing alcohol to my face and followed that up with hydro cortisone cream. This kept it under control but all those chemicals were bad for my skin and my face always stung. I was searching for an all natural organic solution to this problem. I found Aim 2 Health SKIN REMEDIES on Google and decided to try “My Daughter's Hand & Body TheraCream -with 10% Urea” It worked! I have now been using the cream for one and a half years and it continues to work. At first I used it every day but now I apply it only a few times a week and I have not had a breakout of Seborrheic dermatitis in over a year and a half. The cream stings a little for about a minute after applying it but that is how I know it is working. The cream works awesome and my skin has never been better. Yours Sincerely!

Dry Itchy Blisters Began To Spread On My 4 Month Old Son

by Valerie K.

My 4 month old son had red, itchy blisters on his face. When we went to his doctor, she told us that he had atopic dermatitis. She gave us cream and antihistamine to be taken for 7 days. After 7 days, there seemed to be an improvement. Then we discontinued using the cream because the steroid content was so strong and the side effects were not good but we then noticed that his scalp was flaking, the blisters on his face began to appear again on his face as well as all over his body. We sought a second opinion with a pediatrician allergist and she told us that it was too early to say that my son had atopic dermatitis. She told us that it could be seborrheic dermatitis because of the flaking of his scalp. I've been searching the net on what's the best product to use to relieve the itching, and for the blisters to disappear, and the flaking of his scalp. I had used Physiogel cream, Aveeno products and Cetaphil as his body wash, but nothing worked and it was just getting worse. I found your website and began using your products as fast as I could. I am so happy now because my son's symptoms have now cleared up and I don't have to see him suffer any more....thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Hello Penney,

How wonderful that you are interested in bowel cleansing for your children. I will say that our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER is actually formulated for adults 18 years and older. I would recommend searching on the web for a colon cleanser that is specially formulated for children and hopefully you will find something natural and great for kids.

Best wishes in your search!

Response To Lichen Planus
by: Nanette From Skin-Remedies.com

Hello Nicole,

Although Lichen Planus generally affects the skin and mouth, it can affect hairy areas such as the scalp in rare cases. This is called Lichen Planopilaris, and can lead to redness, irritation, and in some cases, permanent hair loss.

I will tell you that although the cause of Lichen Planus is not known, there are many theories to explain it. Most health care professionals believe it can be classified as an autoimmune disease. This means that white blood cells which usually fight germs begin to attack the normal parts of the skin, mucous membranes, hair, and nails. There are cases of lichen planus-type rashes which occur as allergic reactions to medications for high blood pressure, heart disease, and arthritis. Identifying and stopping the drug helps clear up the condition within a few weeks. Some people with Lichen Planus can also have hepatitis C which, of course, can be checked for it.

Steroid creams, steroid shampoos and ingestible steroid drugs not only DO NOT heal this condition but also have many harmful and devastating side effects. These side effects can include: thinning of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system.

My suggestions that I will share with you will include both internal as well as external recommendations in order to build your sister's health inside as well as outside.

1) It is important to take our INTESTINAL BOWEL CLEANSER (capsule or powder form), twice daily, to remove impacted waste matter and toxic build up as well as assist in cleansing the liver and kidneys. This will greatly help by building and strengthening the immune system.

2) Ingest our GREEN POWERHOUSE, several times per day, to provide the body with the widest array of vitamins, minerals and enzymes needed by the body to repair and replenish. This formula also contains the highest amount of chlorophyll which further cleanses every cell as well as promotes healthy cell growth, functionality and development.

3) At night before bedtime, rub in our specially formulated therapeutic DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM into the parts of the scalp affected. This double strength formula is all natural and penetrates the thicker skin of the scalp deeper and faster and has tremendous anti-itch properties. Allow the cream to absorb overnight into the 7 layers of scalp tissue.

2) Next, wash the hair and scalp with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT which is hypo-allergenic and filled with nutrients. These 2 products, together, will unpack dry damaged cells to the deepest part of the scalp and restore much needed moisture and regain a healthy balance once again thus preventing hair loss.

Once her scalp condition is repaired she need only use the HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT to keep her scalp healthy and problem free.

Please keep me posted as to her results Nicole.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis....Red, Itchy Face & Scalp

by Tina C.
(CA)

Hello Nanette,

Several months ago I went to a dermatologist and she told me that I had sebborheic dermatitis. She gave me something in a 1% solution that she thought would take care of it. I had a very itchy, red face and scalp. No help at all, so I went back and saw the doctor again. This time, the dermatologist said, "We don't know what this is, exactly, so let's just hit it with everything!" She gave me a hydrocortisone cream (2.5%), a stronger fungal cream, an antibiotic, and another pill to treat yeast infections." That should do it, right? That didn't work, either, and may have even worsened the situation. Back I went! This time they said, "We think you have rosacea" so she gave me more pills/more creams." Didn't help, and once again, possibly even worsened it a bit. I had been out of town for 7 weeks, visiting our grandkids in VA, and during that time, with the rosacea medication, decided to stop taking everything almost as soon as I got there. My face felt a bit better after that, but right before I came back home to CA, it had started getting worse again, so I decided to try Clinique's creams for rosacea. Oh boy, was that a mistake!!! After one application of the cream, my face flared up unbelievably, it sucked any moisture that was still in my skin right out, and I had horrible flaking/ peeling all over my chin area and forehead, along with intense itching.

I had to do something!!!!!! I got online, reread all the things about the various skin conditions, and decided myself that I obviously didn't have rosacea, but rather sebborheic dermatitis. I also looked up websites that had creams and shampoos/face soap that would especially treat this condition. I decided to try your Face and Neck Theracream along with your All over Face and Body Moisturizing Wash, and Herbal Shampoo Treatment and now my skin looks amazing!! With your face cream, not only did it completely reverse the flaking/dryness, but I can honestly say that my skin looks better than it did before this whole thing started, if you can believe it. I hope this is an encouragement to you! Thanks again for putting some really good products out there. Tina C., CA

Full Blown Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Scalp

by Ivan Costa

I've dealt with "normal" dandruff off and on over the year, but last summer it morphed into full blown Seborrheic Dermatitis. I lost hair, had eczema patch-like scales along my hair line, with an itchy and bone dry scalp. It was awful. I changed my diet and eliminated all processed sugars, alcohol, simple carbs, caff. etc. It helped some esp. with the itching, but it didn't go far enough to manage the flakes and dry scalp and hair. My doctor prescribed Nizoral and it seemed to work some at first but destroyed my hair which is now wispy and dry. I then tried Zincplex and it worked well in terms of "flake management" but it is drying and I still need to use it daily. And my hair was still so dry it wouldn't hold conditioner or even oil treatments.

Out of desperation I've tried every remedy I could find and take everything and anything in terms of supplements, yoga, etc. Then I cam across your products. THANK YOU! The Herbal Shampoo Treatment and especially the Double Strength TheraCream are right now the best solution to manage this condition. And though I'm not rid of the flaking 100% yet, the dry - pulling scalp are a thing of the past. Most of my hair has grown back and more importantly, it feels "normal" again.

I have a process by which I wet my hair slightly and rub in your TheraCream onto my scalp and then comb through. I leave it on anywhere from a few hours to overnight. Next I wash my hair with your wonderful Herbal Shampoo Treatment, and WHA-LA, my hair feels wonderful and scalp is 90% plus free of flakes.

Cheers!

Severe Seborrheic Dermatitis Of The Scalp

I have severe seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. I received the Double Strength TheraCream and Herbal Shampoo Treatment a few days ago and have been using them each night and morning respectively. For the first time in over a year I've been getting 7-8 hours of sleep because my scalp doesn't itch. My question is, would it be all right to use the TheraCream during the day as well as nighttime for a couple of weeks? If so, should I wash it out every 12 hours and then reapply, or just leave it on for 24 hours and shampoo each morning? Thank you.

by: Nanette from Skin-Remedies.com

Hello,

First, I would like to thank you for sharing about the great relief you are already receiving. Many people are not aware that those suffering from most itchy type symptoms, will have their sleep impeded as well since the itching does not go away when sleeping. To answer your question, we have many customers who have shared that they actually use the Double Strength TheraCream anytime they need itchy scalp relief and will leave the product on the scalp for several days (in between shampooings). As long as you just apply what you need, which is a thin coat, you will find that the product is fine to leave in during the day as well.

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have and do keep me posted on your progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hello Carolina,

As a mother, I certainly feel your frustration over the unresolved skin condition of your little baby girl! I will also say that I am proud of you for not wanting to continue using such harmful chemicals as hydrocortisone as well as many of the toxic ingredients in Selsun Blue. Your baby is only one month old and has already been exposed to too many harsh chemicals! The side effects of steroid use are many and include: thinning and discoloration of the skin, easy bruising, permanent dilation of certain blood vessels, burn marks on skin, liver and kidney damage and a weakened immune system. Not only this, but steroid use almost always produces a "rebound effect" of the very symptoms you are trying to get rid of! This would explain why her seborrheic dermatitis has returned as well as her getting cradle cap.

Here is what I recommend for your little baby girl:

Wash only with a hypo-allergenic and gentle body wash which contains absolutely no chemicals or ingredients that can be toxic to the skin. Our FACE & BODY WASH will provide this type of purity and will help bring her skin in balance. You can use this gentle wash for her scalp as well to relieve her cradle cap. Then apply our FACE & NECK THERACREAM which is a deep penetrating cream which will penetrate the 7 layers of skin and will relieve the seborrheic dermatitis, promote optimal functioning of the skin processes helping reduce inflammation and restore the skin while stopping any itching and providing an anti bacterial protection as well. At first, you can even add a bit of sterile water to her first few applications to thin the cream somewhat and gradually add less water until you are applying full strength. This cream is very soothing and fast absorbing.

All of our products are filled with just the right health building ingredients which is essential to the repair of the skin. Just as the body responds to wholesome foods, the skin will absolutely respond to healthy ingredients.

Please keep me posted on your little baby girl's progress Carolina.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Hello Sheila,

Being a diabetic you are most likely aware that diet and fiber intake are very important to your overall health. Next, what you use on your scalp is very important as the right products will restore proper Ph and balance to the scalp. I would recommend first applying a light coat of our Double Strength TheraCream on the troubled areas of your scalp. Follow this with cleansing with our Herbal Shampoo Treatment. These two products are very soothing and relieve itching and contain many health building ingredients which the scalp responds to.

Please keep me posted on your progress Sheila.

Nanette

I have been suffering for more than 14 years and I am 30 years old now, married and have a 3 year old son. Hello Mrs. Anjum,

I understand your frustration and certainly suffering with Seborrheic Dermatitis for so long can take its toll. I recommend our DOUBLE STRENGTH THERACREAM to be applied on the scalp at night and allowed to absorb overnight. This quick penetrating cream will help stop the itching while working to lift damaged cells to the surface and add much needed moisture. In the morning, gently wash with our HERBAL SHAMPOO TREATMENT. Patience and consistency will be important in the care of your scalp.

Please keep me posted on your progress Mrs. Anjum.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis

by anonymous
(Iowa)

My 28 year old son has been battling severe seborrheic dermatitis on his scalp for the past couple of years. I was just wondering if the Double Strength Theracream after being massaged into the scalp would make his hair appear to be greasy. The itchiness he endures almost drives him crazy and he is suffering low self esteem issues because of the flaking...also feels that he has suffered hair loss(which I haven't noticed). Please help!!!

Hello,

When applying the Double Strength TheraCream your son will only need to apply a very light coat to the troubled areas. This cream is quickly absorbed into the scalp and will begin soothing and relieving the itching and flaking. Then I recommend following with our Herbal Shampoo Treatment to cleanse the scalp and restore proper Ph balance to the scalp. Our customers who have had similar symptoms have also shared that these products have helped with hair loss due to SD symptoms.

Please keep me posted on your son's progress.

Warm Regards,
Nanette

Seborrheic Dermatitis On My Eyelid

by Jill A.

I had Seborrheic Dermatitis on my eye. My eyelid was red, swollen, itchy and flaking. The flaking was near my eyelashes. Steroid creams would help a bit. The before pictures were during steroid treatments. My eyes were actually worse prior to the steroids. Within 2 days of using your Face & Neck TheraCream, my symptoms were beginning to be controlled. The swelling started disappearing, the redness was gone, and the flaking had subsided. Within 1 week, I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. It was so much smoother. I use this product twice every single day. It goes with me everywhere. I have informed both my dermatologist and eye doctor about this "miracle" cream. This is amazing. I honestly had spent a fortune on different creams, ointments, prescriptions and doctor appointments. Your cream is the only one that provided immediate results that were soothing as well. When your eyes hurt, your whole body seems to be affected. The other ointments and creams would blur my vision daily, plus they only helped a bit. Your cream is smooth, light, and a heavenly miracle. Thank you so much. Don't ever stop making it. I don't know what I would do. You are a keeper.

Needing Help for Androgenetic Alopecia/Seborrhic Dermatitis

by Judy
(Acworth, GA, USA)

Hello, Thank you for your website. I have been wanting to write you about my daughter for so long. Research takes time!

Well, about 1 year ago I noticed my daughter was losing her hair on the top of her head (crown and in the front somewhat) She has beautiful brown curly hair and is 22 years old.

She had cradle cap as an infant. Then we struggled with eczema when she was a child. When she was 20 1/2 years she had a huge flare-up of dandruff on top of her head into her eyebrows, and eye-lids. It was literally snowing all over her face and head!

I've taken her to 2 dermatologists who only prescribe the tar shampoo or worse yet nothing!!!

One dermatologist told me to see an OBGYN because they believed she was losing her hair from PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

We had all the blood tests and pictures taken of her ovaries and the doctors decided she had PCOS.

She is on birth control pills for PCOS.

Do you have any further suggestions? Have you received any other e-mails similiar to this??

Thank you so much for your site.

Please, can we use your products for her seborhic dermatitis and androgenetic alopecia???

Thank you. Judy
